Bridge Diner — Restaurant in New Cumberland

Decent food in a humble setting. This is not a fancy place. But don't be scared off. They did a cute job decorating for Easter. The lunch/dinner menu was basic. Mostly sandwiches, wraps, burgers. There were two homemade soups plus chili. The service was friendly and attentive.

The homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious. My wife had the chili. I stole a taste and was impressed. Both came out piping hot.

I had a turkey "club" sandwich. This is what I always get to test out a diner. It was not a triple-decker club. More like a BLT with turkey and cheese added. Despite that, it tasted great. The bacon was still warm. It obviously was freshly cooked. The French fries were good. My wife had a Cobb salad. She enjoyed it. Like my sandwich, her bacon was freshly cooked.

There was only one person working who was the server and cook. The food came out in a decent time. There were only three couples dining. If it was busier I'm sure service would have suffered.

We didn't have dessert. It wasn't offered so I'm not sure if they have any. No refrigerated rotating dessert cabinet full of yummy stuff.

This place is not handicap accessible. The restroom was clean but smaller than an airline restroom! There was off-street parking available.

We had an excellent brunch here September 17. The diner is really small but they are making the most of the space they have. Extremely friendly service, delicious food (breakfast and lunch), great coffee. It is very clean. I could go on and on. We were staying nearby and found them using google. We had a gyro omelette, grits, sausage gravy and biscuits, a cheeseburger, cheesesteak and fries and two pieces of chocolate cake to go. The food was served hot and delicious! None of us had any complaints at all. If we find ourselves in this area again, this place will 100% be on our list. We felt like family by the time we left. Thank you for...

This place is small (tiny) small. Not a lot of parking. The dining area is maybe 20 (or) less tables and 4 stools at the counter. BUT...the food is delicious. I only had breakfast but it came out hot eggs were perfectly dippy my toast was buttered and my bacon just the way i like it crispy. The atmosphere is well like your sitting at one table with a lot of strangers. Your elbows touch. Thats what i mean about the place is small. I still give them 5 stars because everyone was friendly and our waitress was full of sunshine! It literally felt like you were gathered at a familys house for a big sit down...
