Hutch and Hide — Local services in New Glarus

Passing through New Glarus on my way to Stoughton, Wisconsin, I noticed my cellphone was about to run out of battery life and my rental car had no GPS! I found this lovely store and asked the kind gentleman behind the counter for directions to Stoughton, as I (a Coloradoan) am quite unfamiliar with county roads. Tory kindly printed out a map and detailed directions for me. He literally saved me from a lot of angst and frustration. Just needed to say this shop is so beautiful with gifts for everyone. Friendly great atmosphere. Most of all they go over and beyond in their customer service. I live a ways away and the first time I visited the shop 4 years ago I found the most amazing hand soap and body wash. Every year sinse I get ahold of them for an order of that soap. They are so accommodating to order it and let me know when it comes in and I make the wonderful trip to pickup my order and once again enjoy their amazing store. Thank you...

My husband and I stopped in this store this weekend. We met Tori. He was super friendly and the shop was beautiful. The reclaimed wood was gorgeous. We wanted one of everything. Later we visited the vineyard. Apparently Tori also designed the front of vineyard. It was gorgeous(also really friendly). I highly recommend a stop here if you enjoy this urban farmhouse look.
