Roy's Market — Local services in New Glarus

Great small town store with owners that really care. HOWEVER Its good to note that they will load up a cart and take your bags out to your car if you have more than a handful of stuff. They will also wait out there and help you load your groceries into your vehicle. I assume the intent was to be helpful while making sure the cart got back inside, but personally I found this to be mostly just weird and annoying. I would have been much happier and more likely to be a regular if I could just do everything myself, without having to be conscious of the person looking at/in my car that may not be clean enough.

I go here at least three times a week. I know a few of the staff by name. The store is clean and prices are great. I can honestly say that this is the best place to buy beef. All the meat is great, and they do have great seafood products, I buy all of my shrimp and scallops from the store as well as Icelandic cod the prices can't be beat and the quality of the products they carry exceeds expectations. As far as their beef goes they have regular specials and you definitely cannot beat the quality anywhere. They also have a large wine and beer selection. Better than typical small town grocery store. They have a surprisingly good selection of items. Great dairy selection for a small store - then again, this is Wisconsin. Decent produce section.
