Rating should be 0 but it wasn't an option...Visited the store because a family member passed away and I wanted to get their numbers added to my line. Had the death certificate with me explained what I needed done and was told they couldn't help me that I needed to call. Called on labor day and the department I was told that could help me was off for the holiday, no worries right? Called back the following day and was told I would need to bring the death certificate to a store and that they would be able to handle my request. Explained that I already went to the store but they continued that this was the route I needed to go, also this was the first mention of an additional credit check even though I have been a loyal customer for many years... i explained that i was not going to have my credit ran again since my bill would actually be LOWER than what i pay for 2 lines. Rep told me i could just log in to the deceased persons account (like i know their login info) and just leave the bill in there name and keep paying it.. go back to the local store and explain myself yet again and ask why was I sent away the first time and why did no one mention an additional credit check for adding lines to an existing account. To add insult to injury i am soaking wet because It is POURING down raining. Rep was currently on hold with ATT so attempted to assist me during his wait time at which point I was cut off because someone came back on the line. Fed up at that point I left and nearly lost my car because the roads were flooded ... now mind you I had already visited this store days before so technically I didnt need to be out in the terrible weather. Needless to say ATT does not have a clue how to treat customers especially in a sensitive time like after losing a loved on. I am sure the new provider I choose will be happy to assist me when...

I was told my bill was going to be $130/month including the iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB, the 10th gen Apple Watch 46mm, the iPad Pro 13ā, insurance on the phone as well as some thing where I could trade the phone in for a new one at no additional cost. This morning I received a notification that my iPad could not be shipped because of some sort of payment issue. I then called the number and they instructed me to go into the store. After getting to the store, I was told that I wouldnāt be able to finance the iPad. I was a bit confused and asked them what my bill would be without the iPad and was told it was up to $230+/month. After about 3 hours of trying to figure out what to do, my best option was to buy more lines and a new phone to lower the price. I was also told I was going to receive a $1000 credit over the 36 month period as I traded my iPhone 14 Pro. After sending my phone off for trade, I was informed that the $1000 credit was only for a select plan which was over $100/month/line. I was told my phone was only worth $250 max and would be a one time credit. Now I am locked into a 3 year contract with AT&T unless I spend $2500+ to pay off the phones and then switch companies. I feel scammed and taken advantage of. Make sure you have a copy of everything in writing before...
