Fam Bizz — Restaurant in New Orleans

This is a new restaurant in the Broodmoor /Claiborne area that I had to check out and I was glad I did. The restaurant has limited seating so I do not recommend dining in. I called in a takeout order on a Wednesday which was their Steak Night and I picked up my order 20 minutes later with no problems.

For $14 each I was able to purchase a steak, a side salad, corn, mashed potatoes and bread. Once I got home and served the steaks on dinner plates I was very impressed with the generous size of the steaks and how each was cooked medium the way we wanted. Both myself and my spouse found the quality of the food a wonderful surprise and again the portions were very generous so both of us were unable to eat our entire meal.

FYI Family Bizz is NOT a nice fancy sit down restaurant, but they make GREAT food. I highly recommend Family Bizz for reasonably priced takeout soul food that will fill you up and satisfy you and...

I tried Fam Bizz via a friend who was ordering lunch. I did not go into the business, nor did I order the food, thus my review is strictly on the food that I chose and consumed.

I ordered the seafood potato. What I enjoyed most was simply that the potato itself was seasoned with salt before the other items were added. Which is perfect for flavoring. The seafood included a center of some crab meat, crawfish and some shrimp. The part that I disliked most is what I suppose was supposed to be cheese sauce. It was not cheese sauce. This was more some type of brown gravy with milk and powdered cheese. That is the best I am able to describe it. It was bad.

The food is real good, seasoned very well for my taste buds(I'm a burgers, and seafood guy pretty much). I haven't had everything on the menu but what I had so far it has really been good so I could only imagine how delicious the other dishes are. I must say the gentlemen that runs the establishment is really holding it down, even with the curbside takeout you place your order and when you arrive they have a gentleman that brings your order to your vehicle. The establishment is ran very well and the food is prepared with a lot of pride and love. I would definitely recommend to others to stop by if ever...
