Sage Hair Collective — Local services in New Orleans

I drove all the way from North Carolina to see Tiffany for my highlights. NEED I SAY MORE?? Well, yes, I shall… Here is how I found this gift (literally) from the Lord above over 12 years ago: A random waitress in a NOLA restaurant had the most beautiful, natural-looking blonde hair with highlights, so I had to know who her colorist was. Clearly, it was Tiffany! I started going to her, and only her, until I moved to North Carolina and she refused to move with me. So for these past 5 years in NC, I’ve been to SIX “colorists” who have all messed up my hair. I am not exaggerating. So… the obvious solution to salvaging what hair I have left was to drive over 800 miles to see Tiffany at Sage Hair Collective. And, yes I must say even more… because what she did was ABOVE and BEYOND. Besides making my hair beautiful again, she researched colorists (and their credentials) in North Carolina for me just in case I can’t travel back to NOLA each time I need highlights. Thank you so very much, Tiffany!! I’d rather make the trip to see you, though, (even if just for the conversation) so let me go get started on that Go Fund Me and I’ll see you again...

I have always had a love/hate relationship with getting my hair done. I LOVE how I look and feel when I leave the salon and have a difficult time sitting anywhere for more than 1/2 an hour. I never feel this way at Sage. Tiffany and Christine have created an environment that is calm, relaxing and feels luxurious. I always enjoy the time I spend there and walk out, feeling relaxed and beautiful.Tiffany has been my colorist for almost 3 years now. She has been patient with all of my indecisiveness in the past but now I just walk in, tell her to do whatever she wants, and always get compliments on my hair when she's finished her magic. I started seeing Christine a year ago when I decided to let my hair grow long. I have curly hair (that I straighten) but wanted to learn how to wear it curly. Christine is the curly hair expert. She is meticulous and always takes her time. I never feel rushed. My hair is the healthiest and most beautiful that it's ever been. I have no doubt that I'm in the hands of the best hair experts in NOLA....

This salon is absolutely magical. Each and every stylist is kind and genuine. I have been going here for almost a year and the service is impeccable, the salon is spotless, and the decor makes you feel comfortable. They offer complimentary beverages at the start of your appointment and take great care of each of their clients from start to finish. Personally, I see Lauren who is always meticulous, thoughtful, and gives an amazing hair cut and style. She’s actually taken time with me to teach me how to style my hair at home so that it doesn’t just look nice for a few days post salon visit. This salon doesn’t push buying products nor are they agressive with services. I have never once had an appointment that didn’t start exactly on time or early which is just amazing given that most salons don’t have a ton of control over their clients timeliness and then sometimes cannot start a haircut on time.
