Where do I start….. it’s been 7 years since I lost my husband. I have thought a million times over of taking our wedding rings and having them made into a piece that I could wear every day. I finally decided on a ring. The morning I got into my jewelry box to get the rings and take them to the House of Stones, I found another ring. A ring that I thought was lost forever. A ring that my Gram had tried to give me twenty different times but I kept giving it back to her. When she passed away and we couldn’t find it, I was heartbroken. I was instantly flooded with emotion when I found it sitting right there under my nose this entire time. I knew then that there must have been a reason I waited so long to have this piece made. It had to be a part of it. After work that day I walked into the House of Stones and attempted to describe to Ian what it was that I was wanting. I don’t think I did a very good job but somehow he knew exactly what it was that I needed. I say “needed” because I’m not even sure for what I was looking. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever own something so beautiful. Something so special that no words can describe. The middle stone is from my engagement ring, the five on the outside are from Gram’s ring and the rest are from my bands. I am so grateful to them for creating this masterpiece. !!!Big Shout Out!!! The House of Stones did an amazing job repairing and polishing my honeymoon ring! This ring means almost as much to me as my wedding ring, and when it broke I was crushed. Nate and I found this little band on our honeymoon. The stamping is worn and gosh knows how old it is, but that’s half it’s magic. I have dreamed up so many stories about it’s past. Last month, as I was running my hand through my hair, the ring pulled my hair. It had snapped, broke right at its seam. Nate attempted to solder it, that didn’t work. Nate suggested we take it to The House of Stones and see if they could fix it. At first, in a moment of self pity, I thought it was a waste of time and money. Nate forced the issue, and we took it in. They were awesome, understood the importance, confirmed it was gold, and fixed it...
