China Wok — Restaurant in New Philadelphia

Ive eaten here many times. While it is far from my favorite in town, my other half likes it but still complains about the chicken being overcooked. What can I say that's good.. The egg rolls are usually very good. My old go to dish was General Tso, but that here turns to more of a gelatin and less of a sauce once it starts cooling. This makes the dish a poor option for me to order as a lunch. Its very sweet which is also another reason I've turned to other dishes at China Wok. I do enjoy the Lo mein dishes they have. Their noodles are quite good, though sometimes overcooked as well. I also want to touch on the fact of the free quart on orders over $30. The last two times I have ordered, I have ordered online and I did not receive my free quart. I order for a family of 6 so the order is always over $30. I am not mentioning this because I completely feel ripped off but rather because this is printed on their menus and should be honored, especially in Ohio. Some families might really depend on that quart of chicken while meal planning for the evening. China Wok, if you're reading this you should look into the online process and why this is being overlooked for...

I generally enjoy eating here; so I’ve ordered different things on the menu now that I like most of what I’ve had in the past. I didn’t take a photo; but I ordered a chicken dish and unfortunately, it was all celery, carrots and peanuts. I will look through the menu to find what I ordered; but there was hardly no meat at all..70% celery and carrots, 20% peanuts and 10% meat and it was all undercooked..so the vegetables were crunchy..I usually don’t leave bad reviews; and I know it’s not all the time which is why it’s not a 1..But I hope you find this helpful to change up the some of your dishes and be mindful of the cost-meat ratio..when you pay $12-$14 for uncooked veggies and a bit of meat;...

Terrible!!! Don't usually review but such a bad experience. just moved down to area after ordering this fifty dollars worth to feed our movers they forgot a bunch of stuff and food was tasteless. So this weekend I decide to give it one more try. I claim my stuff they owed me and got a few more things. arrive early insuring freshness. Nope food was hot but disgusting. General tso was so hard and crunchy it was basically breading. Low mein no flavor and old vegetables. Egg rolls tasted like old oil. I could go on but you get the point don't waste your money here will never...
