AT&T Store — Local services in New Roads

The manager of this location opened up the store 45 mins late and gave VERY POOR customer service! I went in to have info transferred from my old phone to my new phone and it was the manager that rudely informed me that I needed to have my old phone repaired (black screen) before any info could be transferred to my new phone. He was curt, impolite and extremely unprofessional. After transferring my old SIM card 2 my new phone, he shoved the new phone at me and told me to leave the store. I have NEVER encountered such disregard for a customer in ALL my years!! Such blatant hostility shouldn't be a part of customer service or AT&T. Bought a ATT prepaid Walmart. Had trouble turning on. . Inside the att phone the package says if you can't get phone set up, go to the att store. So I went. The att people tell me they can't set up the phone because it's from Walmart, unless...... i re buy 65$ worth of minutes. Not only did I have to re buy the min I had purchased at Walmart, att charged me 15$ to set it up. 99$ for phone, 70$ in att cards I can't use, (can't return) then 91$ to get it working although pamphlet phone box says go-to att store. The customer service here is horrible! I was shouted at and made to feel like I was wasting their time. They refused to follow their own “Buyer’s Remorse Exchange Program”. I called AT&T customer care while speaking with the store associates and they would not even listen to what she had to say. When customer care asked for their names they refused to share their names with her. VERY SHADY BUSINESS GOING ON HERE!
