The nurse was very nice. Doctor came in didn't really examine me, they didn't have their x-ray machine up, kept saying how painful it looked, but when they saw I was very allergic to Tramadol they immediately stopped saying anything about the pain and said to take more Tylenol than I have been... Why is it that because I can't take the "new" pain medication, I just have to suffer in excruciating pain??? I hate going to Dr. so when I finally do it is because it has become unbearable! Also, they did a very poor job with re-wrapping my wounds which made sleeping absolutely impossible. I do not recommend this facility for anyone! I just waisted mine, my husband, and my child's time! Waisted money on "unspecified injuries" and it hurt worse b/c of riding in the car to & from... I have a broken sacrum and 2nd degree road rash on the bottom of my bottom cheeks.... My experience here was very degrading to my character, I was characterized as a drug user african American and was even stopped by the hands of law enforcement pulling out of the clinic because some at the clinic called them. Yesterday 11-27-23 I was bringing my 3 year old daughter in to be checked out by a doctor, the visit with the doctor was wonderful untill I left the premises and was stopped by three officers. I was publicly humiliated,embarrassed and harrassed while my daughter screamed from the back seat, I honestly feel I was racially profiled by the worker at the front desk , it was a very unpleasant situation and was also defamation to my character. Have tried numerous times to contact a supervisor. Guess the matter should be delt with how they delt with me in the hands of the law by...

Would like to Thank the “Awesome”Staff and Dr. John Gonzales for making me feel better in one visit. I had been sick for over a month with coughing and respiratory infection causing asthma problems. I was seen by another medical center twice nothing they did would help seemed like my breathing was getting worse. I went Friday night 9/16/23 after work to the Urgent Care Center in New Roads where I was treated by Dr. John Gonzales. He knew just what I needed I was given a breathing treatment and a shot in the office before I was discharged. I slept all night for the first time in a month. My antibiotic was called in for the next day. Everyone there made me feel like they cared about me as a person and a patient. I’m very grateful to them all.
