Blocks of Fudge — Local services in New Shoreham

My friend, her 2 kids, and I were in there yesterday. Myself and one of the kids were looking at some magnets on this turnstile in the middle of the store. Suddenly, I hear, “Can you put all of those back the way they were, now?!” I looked over at her amused, thinking she was joking. She said, “I like to have my store a certain way!” My friend’s kid started rearranging them even though they were not even in any particular arrangement to begin with. She then proceeded to say, “You people like it like that though, don’t you? You like to mess things up”. You people?? What does that mean? A few other customers then glanced over at us with surprised yet sympathetic looks. I said, “Oh! I guess I won’t be buying one anyway then”. She couldn’t care less and began to fuss at some other customer. Then we left. I kept my composure, but I would like the owner to explain what she meant by “You people”. I suppose we also aren’t allowed to touch the magnets before we spend...

Very poor atmosphere trumping the quality of the product. Was there today (6/25/24) and was (not) greeted by the store attendant. Didn't get the name but the owner should seriously consider getting rid of this woman/girl! Very rude and dismissive. Was told as we carried a remnant coffee in to "leave it outside." Where exactly? No "hello." No "can I help you?" Was looking at the options and got the hands-in-the-air gesture as though saying; "can you hurry it up!" Clearly she either doesn't want to be "bothered" with customers while "working" or it was personal? Either way, terrible employee and very poor ambassador for Blocks of Fudge. Should have returned what I bought. Won't be back/don't recommend while this poor excuse is behind the counter but possibly willing(?) to give another try if the staff is at least...

After reading some of the review saying that the owner was rude or unfriendly I wasn't sure if I wanted to come in, but I'm glad I did. First off, the owner WAS NOT rude. She's honestly really nice. She has a good sense of humor and is a little sarcastic and maybe some less intelligent folk mistake that for rudeness. She's honestly very sweet and knowledgeable. Made some great suggestions for fudge as we reminisced about old words and old candies kids wouldn't...
