We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Darius! This was our first time staying on the island and I had looked at a bunch of stays prior to booking here but loved the aesthetic of the place so I immediately had to book. The sisters were so kind our entire stay, as well as everyone staying at the inn. There was a happy hour everyday which was fun. You get to mingle with other guests, and it felt like you were with a bunch of friends talking about what everyone did for the day. The healthy homemade breakfast to start the day every morning before exploring the island was so good, loved that. We had such a great time at the inn and on the island we asked to extend our stay a day and they happily accommodated for us which lead to us finding a glass float! We can’t wait to be back and bring our pups next time!

The cool beach breeze filling our room at night doesn't come with other hotel stays. The funky, earthy vibe appears to be natural but it's the result of hard and heart work from the proprietors, Christy and Becca. The infamous breakfasts cannot be matched on the island. These sisters are hands-on, cleaning, scrubbing, decorating, investing, cooking, planting, greeting, smiling and as they say, "enjoying every minute" of their livelihood! It's as though you walked into a different place and time. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay! Thank you, girls!

We had an amazing stay at The Darius Inn on Block Island. You can’t beat the location! Easily walkable to restaurants, shopping, the beach and nightlife. The service is attentive and friendly. It feels like you’re staying with family it’s so easy, relaxing and familiar. We were checked out and were booked for the late ferry home and they let us use beach chairs, towels, and the outdoor shower during the day. What a lovely experience! We will be back and I can’t recommend The Darius Inn enough!

My husband and I visited Block Island for the first time ever for my cousin’s wedding, and we couldn’t have been more happy with our accommodations at the Darius Inn.

The hosts were exceptional! Readily available to handle any request. Chill and friendly. You can tell they take pride in what they do and the care and attention they give to making sure your stay is great, is beyond perfect.

The vibe of the place is just super fun, too. This boutique hotel is just off the main strip, so you have a little privacy, but are still close to everything. It was a Captain’s house built in the 1800’s, and so it has A LOT of character. And the hosts decor, so beautifully compliments that character, it's clean and tidy, with a sweet boho coastal vibe. Because it’s so close to the strip, they also provide a Dolm white noise maker for sleep so you don't hear the lively folks leaving the restaurants and bars nearby- super thoughtful!

We were lucky that a big group of my family got to book at the Darius Inn, too. This hotel is great for big groups, as the second floor has a common room in middle with mini fridge for our food and drink storage, and outdoor patio upstairs and down. Our nieces loved roaming from room to room in the morning to see us all and so did we!

And let me just say, they make one fantastic breakfast! All homemade, delicious, and healthy. The smoothies were some of our favorites! Super delicious, healthy, and creative. I would never think of combining the combos they did, but they were super tasty and I had to go back for more both mornings we were there.

One thing I would suggest is to book this beauty as early as you can! They only allow you to book one year out, and they fill up fast! A few of us missed out and had to stay somewhere else.

Honestly, my husband and I had the most amazing stay! It’s been a few weeks now since we stayed there and we still talk about it.

Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts and Inn keepers! We hope to...

Let me start by saying that our experience should be unique to anyone else's. This is because, while others stay at the Darius and enjoy the beach chairs and walking across the street to the beach, we spent 2 days straight in Room 5 of the Darius due to rain and 50mph winds. With that said, we had a real up-close experience of being in the room! haha

The staff at the Darius were great! There were super friendly and knowledgable. You can tell they love what they do.

We stayed in Room 5 with our small dog. The room is advertised as "small" but, honestly, we have stayed in smaller rooms on Block Island. The room has a queen size bed, a small TV, a private bathroom with shower, and a fridge. It has a WONDERFUL porch that looked great to sit on and read on during nice weather. It was a nice room. My only suggestion is that maybe find a way to add a small table with 2 stools... the room definitely has the room for something like this (possibly between the bathroom door and the cove for the fridge), but, because we couldn't go out to eat (we had the dog and the weather was tooooooo bad to eat outside), we had to pick up food and eat it in the room. With no where to eat it, we had to lay out our picnic blanket and eat on the bed. Also, if you are expecting to get good wifi connection, I do not know if it was just this room, but the wifi was not very strong and ran slowly. However, with those too things, we had a great stay!

I highly recommend this inn and we will definitely be back. Hopefully with...
