Corner Home Medical — Local services in New Ulm

I will never purchase another item from Corner Home Medical. I ordered supplies for my C-pap on December 22nd. I specifically told Heather that I wanted to wait to purchase a new machine, but to go ahead and order the supplies. I was assured the order would be placed. As of January 2nd I had not received my supplies so I called Corner home, only to be told that the supplies had never been ordered and that there was a note in my file that I wanted to wait until after the new year. I had fulfilled my insurance deductible for 2023, so why would I want to wait until I had to pay for them out of pocket. I left several messages and my call was never returned. I called customer support and was told that they would inform a manager of the situation. Again I never received a call back. Today is January 9th and I finally got someone to answer the phone in New Ulm. I was told that they forgot to order them, and that they were on vacation the entire next week, and they hadn't put in their notes that I wanted the supplies ordered. Basically too bad!! Heather apologized, but said they were busy, and I should have ordered them earlier. I will now have to pay out of pocket for these supplies instead of insurance. I am transferring my business to Adapt.

Update: I left a message on the extension provided on Wednesday January 11th. It’s a week later and I have yet to receive a call back. I don’t think resolving customers concerns is as important to this company as they say it is. I’ve taken my business elsewhere. It took me 10 minutes with Adapt to get the supplies I needed ordered. Not sure why it was so difficult for the Corner home New Ulm office to do this. Especially since my CPap machine was ordered through them. Their lack of service has cost me $250.00. I contacted Corner Home Medical New Ulm about renting a portable oxygen concentrator while getting some kinks in the Medicare qualifications worked out. Heather was so knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to be helpful and kind. Finally got Medicare approval and she took care of changing the billing. I would rate lower than one star but don't have that option. Was never told that you can't return the item or I probably wouldn't have bought it. The knee brace I bought slides down to my ankles after having the brace on over by jeans for an hour. Called the store that is when I was told can't return because it was an opened package.
