Literally the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. They are an absolute disgrace! Never ever use this company to do anything for your property! Aside from disrespectful and unprofessional workers they leave behind an absolute mess. They are lazy and literally leave their crap everywhere. Screws and pieces of metal all over the hallways and in the common areas. They leave all of their supplies in the stairwell, which is beyond illegal, creating extreme hazards if there were ever a fire and would literally be resulting in the deaths of the people who live in the building. Here are some pictures to demonstrate their unprofessional and unsafe practices. Imagine trying to get down your stairs and not being able to open up the emergency fire door?! Imagine walking down your stairs and having huge pieces of metal and cardboard come tumbling down after you knocking you to the ground?! if that’s the kind of work you want done and the way you want your building treated then this is the company for you… but you’d have to be an idiot to want that
IN RESPONSE TO ADLER:
Dear Adler windows this is in reference to the project you did at 345 E. 81st St. The mess in the stairwells was left by your people. I had to contact first service project management to get them to contact you to clean up the mess and no longer leave all of your crap in the stairwells. Literally endangering the lives of the residence of the building. I am more than happy to provide you with those emails where they confirm that this was left by your people. So your response is invalid because you actually have no oversight!! The supervisor you had on site was your foreman and your foreman could not even do basic level work. if you’re talking about the child from first service project management who was in charge of overseeing the project that 21-year-old kid literally had no experience before this project… you can keep lying to yourselves all you want and try to convince yourselves that you do quality work but the fact of the matter is you don’t. You do not put your customers first. You do not put safety first.
If you look at the materials that were left in the stairwells, it is more than evident that the cardboard is what you were using, and the pieces of metal are the pieces of trim that you were using to install the windows. Your people were simply too lazy to put everything away at the end of the day and then bring it back the next day. They cut corners every chance they had just like with the work they did. As usual, you do not take responsibility for your shortcomings or your failures. It is sad and pathetic. Just like the work that you do. These are actual pictures of the mess that your crew left. All you had to do is accept responsibility and apologize and do the project correctly, but that was too much for you to handle. And believe me, I know other people that have worked with you and have said that you screw up all the time, but you, Ross Adler, typically take responsibility for your failures and your shortcomings and make it right but on this project you did not. Unfortunately, on this project, you did not and you treated it like it was a NYCHA project! You do not put safety first, you put convenience and profit first and your workers literally do not care. Your company does not care. Do not lie because I will not let you get away with it anymore. I typically do not leave reviews, but one of my neighbors and my friends had such a horrible experience with your company and the horrible installation you did in his apartment that I felt like it was my responsibility to leave a review to make everyone is well aware and informed of how poorly you do your work.
And for the record, I have zero interest in contacting you however I’m sure my friend MAX would love it if you contacted him and made it right because his balcony is still screwed up from the damage you left behind and his windows are still not sealed properly. he is currently having to pay third-party contractor to finish the job that you refused to do right...
Read moreIt took over half a year for one balcony door and six windows to be installed somewhat properly. From the first day of the initial installation, there were mistakes being made. After they finished on the first day, I literally had to go chasing after them and make them come back because they missed entire areas around the windows inside and outside where they never applied any caulking to seal them. The only way I can describe their work is inconsistent, sloppy and subpar. The workers could not care less if the job is done well and literally told me they get paid by the hour so they really don’t care.
Every time they came to try to repair the work that they had done they would inevitably make things worse. They caused significant damage to my balcony because the workers were too lazy and couldn’t care enough to put down protective material where they were staging and unwrapping the windows. And then it took months for them to reimburse me for the material let alone the labor to fix the damage, which is still a fight in progress At one point, the manufacturer had to come and make adjustments to every single window that was installed to prevent cold air from in getting in. These workers that came were the most disrespectful and unprofessional workers I’ve ever experienced in my life.
They would loiter in the hallways and at one point made my girlfriend so uncomfortable that she started refusing to leave the apartment by herself when they were on my floor because of the way they would stare at her and make comments to her. I cannot recommend this company to anyone, I would simply say if you decide to use them then make sure that someone is there overseeing every single thing they do. Do not trust them to do the work properly themselves without someone right behind them looking over their shoulder the entire time. If you don’t believe what I’m saying just look at the pictures because they speak for themselves. At the end of the day, they still did not finish the work 100% and I will now be hiring another contractor to clean up the mess they made and finish this...
Read moreWe were referred to the Adler team by our building and they exceeded our expectations. The service team showed up on time and were very respectful and courteous; particularly as we had a newborn in the apartment. They communicated efficiently, keeping us informed of the issue and what they were doing to fix it. They made what could've been a stressful experience into a calm, solution-oriented solve. Will be calling for their services again in the future if...
