It's essential a massive warehouse that opened about 10 months ago or so. I went here last night (11-9-24) for a HouseNation party featuring Honey Dijon. This was my first time here and definitely my last. I will start by saying that it's like a mile to get into this place, freaking nutz and chaotic. The workers outside directing traffic are super rude and nasty, yelling at car drivers and partygoers (not the best look) it's not that serious you guys aren't cops or traffic directors they need classes in decency and ethics. On the others hand the staff at the door and inside were incredibly nice and friendly (what a difference.) Maybe in the summer coat check is not a problem but we had to wait an hour to check our coats and 2 hours when we left (talk about buzz kill bro) The place was freaking freezing so we should of just left our coats on. Smh I'm assuming from other videos I've seen in reviews that each Guest brings their own lighting but for this party it was essential just bare bones lights. The stage is like looking at antz because it's so far away and the TV is pretty small if your not close to it. The bar staff was really friendly but it's card only but coat check is cash only. (Make it make sense lol) The worst part is the porta pottys, I guess I'm a spoiled nyc club goer because those things smelled to high heaven, I don't know how these festival children do it. No freaking way, I need running water and paper toilet if I'm paying $70 to get in somewhere, cmon now. They had a small seating area made of hard wood boxes which were ridiculous uncomfortable to sit on and it was super brick cold in that area. What a mess bro. I had a cute time with my friends and the music was aaightt but in my experience new Yorkers deserve better and there's much better options in terms of warehouse parties out there so choose...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this venue. I been everywhere in NY. This is kind of set back near the water and almost impossible to walk to which is why I PAID for parking. The staff told me there was no parking and I’m trying to tell them I paid for it for them to tell me 3 times “no parking” I had to park my car in place and present my pass just to prove I paid for it at that point they let me in even tho they never requested to look at what I paid for. Venue- production is incredible and definitely lifted my mood. Place is massive, lights are awesome and music is perfect. They don’t give free water which I was very disappointed about, every other spot besides mirage (which we all know how they steal money from people) had free water or will give you tap water. Also all bathrooms are potties with no lights to see anything, everyone was using their phone lights. Then the parking issue again. The whole outside sidewalk is fenced off and there’s ZERO signs for people who parked to get back to the lot. Had to walk back and forth 3 times from Uber drop off to the side door to other security who kept telling us to walk back where we came from. Finally I had to ARGUE with security for them to tell me how to get to the lot that’s just on the other side of the fence, it was like pulling teeth and totally unnecessary and legit felt like I was about to get arrested crossing the street like I’m doing something wrong. “Parking this way” is a simple way to tell everyone where to go to avoid people arguing with security who have no idea either. I’d come back but I am not gonna pay to park if that’s how I’m treated. Would also like free water and lights near...
Read moreGetting in was a hike because the Ubers aren't allowed to drop off close to the venue.
Aside from that the bathroom situation was abysmal. I got there 30 mins after the start of the show and of the whole 100 porta potties they had lined up not a single one had toilet paper available. I had to find one after looking for 20 minutes. They don't have bathrooms.
You know what the biggest line of bull for me is? There's no sinks! No running water not even one of those dumb pump stations you use your feet with at construction sites. Just one tiny little table with a Mexican lady and her tip jar selling candies, pumps of hand sanitizer and snacks.
It's crazy after that giant line of bathrooms the best they can pulll together is two pumps to wash your hands.
Me and my wife both got horribly sick after the even this Saturday and I bet you it's because of how grimy it was there and unsanitary. We're both still feeling terrible and have to go to urgent care today...
