This review has been revised a few times now over the years. (2021, 2020, 2018 and 2015) The ball field is nice but not taken care of by the Parks Dept. Adults come from other neighboring neighborhoods get permits to do small baseball tournament. Yet they don't seem to care about cleaning up after themselves. "SMH" The surrounding park area/neighborhood is ok. This is mostly a Hasidic Jew neighborhood with others raises mixed in. The Jews really don't come into this park area, maybe because their not real baseball fans. The big part of this problem is those adults who get permits for baseball tournaments and don't pay attention to their kids. These outsiders whom seem to be the ones who vandalize property most of the time and leave a bunch of trash around after playing their games. They can care less because they don't live around here anyway. The park department doesn't seem to do a great job as well. They come do a small touch-up job, change trash bags, and move on to the next park. Some dog owners are not helping as well. They leave their dogs off the leash and start a conversation with another dog owner who does the same and do not follow the laws. They just read a book/newspaper and can care less their dog poops and they don't clean up after their pets. That is the law, and it's posted, saying to clean up after your pet, who's around to in-force it? This situation doesn't apply to all dog owners, like a few others and myself, but you have the same repeated offenders who just keep coming back. At times, I don't like bringing my own dog here for that same reason because they don't have control of their dogs. Yet I lived by here since 2011 with my dog, and no neighbor can say that I or anyone in our family household has not picked up after our dog. There are signs posted about no BBQing, no dogs off their leash, no alcohol drinks/drugs/smoking, and no dogs on the baseball field, yet this happens every time on different occasions/days. Not to mention the local young adults and men who don't grow up who do drugs at the park as well from Spring, Summer, and part of Fall. This seems to be normal every year around. Many adults and kids alike don't follow laws/rules. The park department doesn't do a good job. Cops don't enforce the laws. Who cares about this? No one really does. This is why I give it only three stars rating.

I come here to walk my dog. They have a ball field, where children from the community join a team and play ball a few times a week. There is plenty of grass areas and benches where you could sit and relax and read a book. My only problem is that people walk their dogs but, don't clean up after them It drives me crazy. If your gking to walk your dog just clean up after them.

It's a very nice place for practicing baseball for kids, go around and running.

There are also some trees if you want to seat with camping chair.

Behind the fence in the center field, you could use chair for seating too, and take fresh air.

The place is frequently use for tournament for young boys.

The field has "softball" dimensions, so that means you won't find a mount for...
