Big Apple — Restaurant in New York

So I gave this place one more chance tonight, after dealing with a very obnoxious female taking phone orders, and an even worse delivery guy. I work in a Rehabilitation Center in Rockaway Park, and have personally seen their delivery driver yell at patients, and customers when they didn't pay fast enough. He is a terribly miserable person who shouldn't even be doing deliveries because he so angry and obnoxious. Tonight, again, I ordered. The delivery driver texts me a picture of the food, rather than coming into the building to deliver. Although I wasn't too happy about his delivery procedure, I STILL gave him a $4.00 tip. He threw my change on to the counter here at the rehab center, and stormed out. Do I eat the food? Their delivery driver was so obnoxious and disrespectful, that I question whether or not to even eat what was delivered. The food there is ok. But the service, attitude, and unpleasant people taking your order, and a mean horribly disrespectful delivery guy, that happens to be one of the most disrespectful obnoxious delivery guys I have ever met to date. Do not order from this place. These people have a seriously BAD attitude. So although their food is I will not allow myself to be treated like that by ANY establishment that I order from. They do NOT deserve another dime from me. Tonight is the last time that I will ever be...

RyDawg.....try them again. They had problem with delivery drivers and also they were very new. They now have the hang of things.

Their food is unbelievable. There is not a Chinese Restaurant in Rockaway that even cones close to this place, I can absolutely promise that. I haven't had chinese food this good since I ate in Chinatown or last had China New Star. Also, they arw the only Chinese restaurant in Rockaway that actually puts egg in their fried rice. NO ONE does that anymore! All if their food is freshly cooked, they don't pre-cook food and re-heat.

Give it a whirl and I promise you'll be hooked and will order again and again!

I recently moved over here and fell in love with how fresh this place food taste. My first order was from the Chinese spot on beach 116th st near the chase bank and it was horrible. So horrible I wasn’t going back to try anything else. I found big Apple on google. My first order was half chicken with egg fried rice and it was too good. This order here in the photo is a shrimp and broccoli combo meal small. The portions is great. The combo comes with soup, egg roll. This order is $11.80 I believe, and it’s definitely worth it.
