Yesterday, we bought a furniture protector from D2 in Staten Island, on Forest Avenue. We got instructions for our chair, but they gave us the wrong instructions for choosing the right protector. So, I asked the salesperson if we could return it if it didn’t fit and exchange it for a larger one. He said yes, that option is available.
That evening, we bought the item, but the next day, when I went back to exchange it for a bigger size, they refused. They told me they don’t do exchanges, even though the salesperson had said otherwise when we bought it.
I feel like this is a short-term trick, but it’s not a good business practice in the long run. Because of this, I won’t shop there again. I’m sharing my experience so others can be careful when buying things like furniture protectors, pillows, or similar items from D2 on Forest Avenue, Staten Island.
