Update: no need to respond here as I have submitted a complaint to my insurance about this business. Not a easy nor quick process.
The difference between your post and my post is that yours is trying to attract customers while mine is trying to warn potential patients and customers about a quack business.
I stopped reading after the first paragraph since your intelligence and character here is even lower than I thought. You didn’t “accommodate” me you overbooked cus the whole place is greedy. You had wide open availability on zocdoc ;) I’m a lot smarter and more clever than the lot of you :) I will be sure to waste much more time than you have already wasted of mine. A doctor saying he doesn’t have time to issue a refund is not only unprofessional but actually a crook and a quack. Also I’d like to know what the credentials are of the person who performed some eye tests on me (who was chagrined when I asked her what they are). She seems to simply be a salesperson. Genuinely curious.
Also the person at the front desk withheld my lens prescription for some very odd reason, after my asking numberous times for it. If the “doctor” explained what the process was maybe such a fuss need not have been made. Everything was written off by him. He was just looking for the next person to charge. I think I skimmed and saw “loud noises.” Ah, such character!! Note that a majority of the 4- and 5-star reviews are posted by people for whom this place is their only review or sometimes their second. Also the word “professionalism” is used a lot. Makes me think they are getting something in exchange for positive reviews. This is my only review on this google acct cus I’m not linking it to my main local guide acct for privacy]
When I called this office to ask for my refund to be processed, because they use a card payment system most street vendors would be embarrassed to use, I was given the runaround until finally the doctor said “I don’t have time. You’ll have to dispute it.” Oh yes. Of course he thinks his clients are an endless way to bill insurance, and not people who might actually value their own time.
I’m familiar with places like this. They accept government insurance so they can essentially run a mill — without Medicaid they’d have nothing. There are good places that accept Medicaid. There was a reason this one had availability last minute on a holiday. They overbook, and the doctor rushes you out and is halfway out the door while you ask questions. Also if the contact exam fee seems too cheap, it’s because they try to add in an extra fee for a fitting. Most places combine it. Just another sneaky business tactic....
Read moreEste Doctor se porto muy mal conmigo y me desprecio porque no hablo ingles. El resumen abajo fue escrito por mi hija que tuvo que lamentablementa lidiar con ese doctor.
I visited Dr. Leonard Fuzaylov twice in the last two years. The first time around I would say it was all pleasant. The second time I went back to get another vision exam (as requested by my primary physician). During this second visit, I brought the original set of glasses that I had purchased in my first appointment. The Dr. mentioned that the glasses needed to be replaced which I was ok with but it was agreed that the frames would not be replaced. Fast forward to two weeks later, I receive a call that the glasses were ready. The next day I get a call saying that there was some issues with the frames and I now need to purchase a whole new frame. It should be noted that my daughter did all of the translation via the phone since I do not speak English. The Dr. then proceeded to say that I had put crazy glue on the frames which is why they couldn't reuse it and I had to buy new ones. I never touched the glasses but yet he wanted to stick to that story. It sounded like all business for the doctor. He then also said that he did us the favor of allowing my daughter to translate for me because he doesn't need to do those type of things. He said he wasted so much time with the translating and all the back and forth. To know that his person calls himself a doctor and wants to get annoyed at the fact that a patient needs help with translating is beyond my understanding. You work in Queens which is a borough full of all types of ethnicities/cultures/backgrounds and you get upset because your patient needs some help in understanding what you are telling them? Dr. Leonard Fuzaylov is unprofessional and unethical, not compassionate as his...
Read moreI scratched my eye pretty badly, Saturday morning I couldn't be in the light or keep my eye open without pain burning and tearing nonstop. After searching doctors on Google nearby and calling, nobody would take first time patient and emergency in asap. My sister called this office and they gave me an appointment only 2 hours later, I was in and out of office, got my prescription from pharmacy and back home within an hour and a half. The receptionists were amazing, kind and caring they processed everything so quickly and without rushing. Doctor Fuzaylov was very caring, kind and helpful, he explained everything to me in a way I could understand very well. I followed his instructions for the rest of the day and started the prescribed medicine this morning, the discomfort in my eye is completely gone already. My followup appointment is Monday only 2 days later and I finish work at 4 30 pm. Not only did they schedule me for after work, but they gave me so many different options to pick a time best for me. My overall experience here was glorious. Very comfortable atmosphere, very safe friendly and convenient office. I'm no doctor but the doctor here has that aura and vibe about him that shows he's a veteran eye doctor and knows damn well what he's doing, and he cares about his patients as long as they want help, followup and do as he instructs. Thank you...
