Hello, I was working with this company on a new lease a couple of years back. Last year I moved to another state and called them around April or may of this year to express my concern that i am about to go over milage and that we will need another car. I was told that my lease is finishing in November and that the current rates were high ,prices were high and I should wait.he told me that it was ok that milage was going over, not to worry about it. I trusted them and thought that they trully care for me, my family, by business and went with what they told me and patiently waited. In August I received a call from the bank saying that my lease finished in June and if I don't buy my car or return it by Tuesday they would come to reposess it. They said i was not making payments, but i was on autopay. Turns out - when the lease finished the bank rememed my from aoutopay but didn't send a bill or notification. I wasn't aware I needed to pay anything and I know that my car is till November and my autopsy is taking care of it. So, they reported this to credit bureaus. Now I have a 108 point decrease on my credit, I worked my whole life on my credit history and never had a delinquency in my life. I had to finance this car at a higher rate and not being able to get a second car. I didn't do anything bad to deserve this I had my account on auto pay. I called him to consult ehat what i should do, i trysted them, but they didnt care. Had the representative checked and provided me the true information that my lease was about to expire and tried to get me on another car. I would have avoided my credit score being spoiled, avoided going over milage and you would have gotten your sale .at this moment I can not recommend this place to anyone and on the other hand If anyone asks I would steer them away...
Read moreBe cautious when dealing with this vehicle leasing company! I've dealt with a number of similar companies and never have I had a negative experience with the others. I traded one of my vehicles for another (different brands) earlier this year. Exotic Motor world agreed to take my old car and return it to a dealership so that it could be grounded. The person who delivered my new car and took the old was pleasant and I provided him with a customary tip. Well, a few weeks after they took my old car, I received a lease statement claiming that I incurred over $1,500 of damage to the vehicle. I know when I provided the vehicle I did not have this damage so when I asked the representative who I was working with, he could not provide me with an answer. He claimed that his "system was down" and that he could not give me the details of the place they returned my vehicle to. For all I know, they could've sent it to a sketchy place that processes fake damage claims for some sort of kickback. I kept following up with the rep I dealt with and he either ignored me or could not give me answers. According to the finance company of the old car, they do not have access to a report or photos and said that the dealership or person who returned the car would have this information. I have been playing detective for months without an answer from anyone. I am beyond frustrated because I am stuck with a bill that I did not incur and no one wants to fess up. It really is a shame and very unprofessional of Exotic Motor World. I am not one to complain but I was really taken advantage of here. This is extremely upsetting. It’s rare to find somebody who actually puts in the time and effort to get you the best deal out there, and who isn’t just trying to line their pockets. This guy actually cared about what I had to say, listened to my every request, and went above and beyond in finding me exactly what I wanted. Mind you, this was at a time where the sleazy car dealerships were all competing for who can rip me off more.
When Rob gave me the price for my car, it was so much fairer than the dealerships that I thought he was joking, and that my car would only come with two wheels instead of four.
