TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!

I've grown up in the neighborhood and have given this store business over the course of the years. They sold me a flashlight which didn't work after I came home and tried to turn it on. I immediately called to let them know and to explain that this caused a huge inconvenience as I needed it in a timely fashion and that I would be back the following week to exchange it as I would be away for a week and won't be able to come earlier than that. They were very nasty and unfriendly and refused to exchange it. The man over the phone who sold me the flashlight said "how would I know whether you will just use it for a week and return it with a drained battery"...So in other words they accused a customer of trying to pull a shtick on their store without knowing the person and wouldn't display proper customer service. BE CAREFUL...

I stopped by earlier today and asked if he could create an internal thread on cut pipe - he looked at me like I had two heads. He told me it could not be done. I looked this up on YouTube and quickly found several tutorials on how to do it. I also found several tools on Amazon, Lowe's, and Home Depot. Obviously the person behind the counter does not know much about hardware or home repair and needs better customer service skills. I will not...

I needed a piece for my toilet, it was the rubber plug to stop the water and fill the tank. I had gone to a few places and none of them had what I needed. Here I was able to get help and had the right piece needed. The person was very conscientious and helpful. This was about a year ago. My toilet is still working well...
