Hina Brows Studio — Local services in New York

I'm a new customer on this Salon. Clearly I'm afraid of my "what ifs" or "maybe they'll gonna mess up" or whatever. My cousin, who, recommended me the salon for me to try their eyelashes extensions. I'm not here to find a cheap one but I really love mink eyelashes. So when I came in, the lady asked me what I want and so I told her I want a refill of mink extensions. and she's ok with the in-doubt-face like "oh maybe this girl don't know what she want bec mink is expensive" face and she asked me again and she told exactly the price how much it is. In my mind, I was laughing bec I know how much that can be. Annnnnd yes, the refill is $50, and you know what's worst is? She let me sitting down doing it. Not covering me eyes doing it? Where, please correct me if I'm over reacting, she should cover my eyes for safety purposes. And you know how it hard its gonna be like burning your eyes with the glue and she just gave me a tissue. And telling me it's normal!!!??? Ma'am, I never experienced that to the salon that I used to go (It's just I really dont have a choice and I gave it a chance to try in here). It is a worst experience for me. I really want to write a review bec the lady was tryinh to be sweet even if she really don't have an idea how to take good care of a patient getting lashes. It's not reallyyyy the way she handled me that day, January 18, 2018!!!! I really pay her decent plus tips (Even if its a horrible experience for me but Im still nice to her- It is better to give than to receive bad anyways)... And I don't have a plan to write a complaint because the result is ok though my eyes is burning but thisssss timeeeeee.... after 8Days!!!!!!!! This is unfair!!!!! Please see a picture below........ and this is why it triggers me to wrote a complaint!!!!! I got mine at Lower Manhattan, and it stays longer its worth the price for. But ma'am, this one is unreal.. I don't care if the woman let me pay $50 for the refill.. but next time try to improve the service!!! The woman didn't even know if right after putting the lashes she should use a brush as a finishing line but then she told me, their brush for the lashes was gone and she couldn't find it and she used a brush for eyebrows!!! Goshhh!!! Funny right?!? But anyways, this is too long!!! I just hate this salon!!! And I don't have a plan to...

The worst. I went in today 12/6/17 12:20pm. I told her this woman what I wanted and she said I don’t understand twice then she walked over to the prices cart and pointed out the prices twice and I said yes what kind of business person are you? I told her I came to get all the hair removed and she told me some people say why you taking my money that’s why she showed me the prices. You would think I was some bum begging the ladder for something for free the way she kept point out each one of the prices. The woman was also on face time chat with her relatives and left the face chat on while she was threading my face. She then tried to rush my face and left a whole bunch of hair on my face. I told her and she was arguing with me that she did it three times and she was going to call her manager on me and I was the only customer like this. I then told her go ahead I came to get the hair off my face not her to go through the motions and act like she did it to rush back to her face time Call. She then closed her case to cover her phone but the face time was still on since I had a problem with it. I had to tell her about seven times where the hair still was and that one side burn higher then the other. Then she refused to sign my card and said it wasn’t there card and I pointed out the name at the top and she said oh. Then she refused to give me a price and said she didn’t know or wouldn’t give me the price. She said I didn’t get elbows done so she can’t sign the card I told her I got the card signed before when getting my face threaded and she called her manager to ask. She then asked me if I was Spanish and I said no (I’m black American and Peruvian) what does it have to do if I’m Spanish then she asked if I was Muslim and I said no. Then she said the manager said not to sign then she finally give me a price and I paid and left. I told her I was never coming back there again. There racist if your not Spanish or Muslim. Racism in my own country from an Indian immigrant run business oh my god. This place...

I’ve been going here for years and I’ve never had a problem but last month April.20,2022 to be exact I did my eyebrows and the lady was on the phone I think her name is Aby she had her head tilted so she messed up my right eyebrow I told her and she got mad and told me my eyebrow looks fine… I’ll add a picture for you to see how uneven they were then I come back today a month and one day later to get a cleaning and they don’t even acknowledge me she gave me an attitude when I asked a simple question and kept taking other people who came in after me she said “ she’s waiting for the other lady” so I didn’t say anything I just waited and when suchi came back I tried to ask how long and they just talked over me and started talking in their native language no respect to customers I asked her again how long and she took another customer who came in after and told me to wait 10 more minutes when I’ve been waiting for almost 40 minutes why are you taking people who came in after me? I’m never coming back here again i liked this place because it’s close to home but I would rather spend more money going to another place than to be treated like that, so if you care about how you’ll look and how you’re treated I advise you to find another place to do...
