I’ve been coming to the shop now four times to get my cornrows just as a foundation underneath my wigs. I come washed and blow dried every single time in which I paid $25. The owner usually charges me $20 and I leave a $5 tip. Today the owner was not there and they charged me $40 just for the same simple braids, which never take more than half an hour and I also never use weave incorporated in my braids. I asked him to call the owner because I know I’m not lying and from $20 to $40 is a big gap. Literally double… The owner suddenly acts like she has no idea what I’m talking about... I advise that if you want to come here, you should check out other Hair Braiding places in the area because I’m not sure what’s happening with the business but they’re clearly stealing from their customers. Or if you are a frequent customer, I guess even if you’re getting the same style you usually get, you should ask every single time for the price because they just might feel like charging you double that day.

Been going here for two years now after my cuz introduced me. They usually do hair exceptionally well job. Did my hair Sat 5/28/2022. Jenab had a new girl do my hair; came out terrible. Called yesterday 5/29/2022 told Jenab I didn’t like my hair and I will keep the half in box braids. DID NOT Ask for a fund. She said, “okay it will be $60 half head. Today I came in the salon for my hair. Jenab was still unavailable. Another person did it and all went well. At the end Jenab told me it will be $120 double the price.

For me it wasn’t about the money bc I had it thankfully. It’s the unprofessionalism. This should of been stated prior to service.

For $220, I honestly didn't get what I want. I wanted lower back length and once I saw after the first braid it was kinda long, I wanted it mid back length.
