Sauce Boss Wings — Restaurant in New York

Sooo to be clear I absolutely loved some of their plates but what i did not enjoy was the way you pick up your food if you order ahead for take out.

So i have ordered using my uber eats pass for pick up 3x now. Food is delish consistently. I think the price is a bit expensive especially for the 1st item below but it is good (and I will still pay this price when i want to treat my daughter and I bc we love the taste).

Truffle Mac & Cheese- my 10 yr old and myself love this! Creamy, cheesy, tasty sooo delicious Churros - Orea option pic below. SOOOO GOOD and we also tried the caramel churro and 😋 para los gustos se hicieron los sabores bc my fav is the oreo & my daughter's fave is the caramel. Tostones- ain't all that, nothing special. Rasta Pasta - delish!!!!! Yummmm this is a banger right here! Is a but spicy but tolerable, fyi i also usually don't like spice that's why I am mentioning it but i had nooo issues enjoying this! Oxtail Mac & Cheese was delishhhhhhhh also! I forgot to picture it but it was good! My daughter is not a fan of Oxtail so no surprise she wasnt having it lol but i do enjoy Oxtail and i enjoyed this! Complaint: to pick up the food, you go to some sort of meal pick up center. I wish there was more transparency and guidance on getting your food. Don't expect to pick up in the restaurant. Also once inside there are some instructions but they are difficult to see with soo9 many people inside. It looks like a delivery hub where drivers just go & wait to pick up food ... OR they r there waiting for their order 🤷‍♀️sooo when you order go to the ipad in the window and just touch the screen and following the instructions. You will have to scan your phone and then it will tell you which locker you can retrieve your food from. And do yourself a favor even if it looks like there is a...

I usually don't do reviews but I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I am so sick and tired of the false advertisements on Google and Instagram with some of these restaurants, just stop! First off they will not add anything or make any changes to the meal even if you're willing to pay extra. How can you sell lambchops with just plain rice no gravy , no sauce or anything they wouldn't even sell me the peppers at least to go on top of the rice whereas the oxtail bowl comes with the sauce and peppers 🤔 okay let's just get into these horrible lambchops the worst lambchops I've ever had in my entire life. They were tiny, burnt, tough, little black salty lambchops over a whole box of burnt dry coconut rice ! I've never been so disappointed in my life and I love love lambchops very upsetting they went right in the garbage a big waste of my hard earned money. The fried shrimp was salty the sweet plantains was a soft mushy oily pieces of slop. The only thing that was manageable to eat was the wings and they was even wet and soggy. I guess if you decide to come here just get some wings and call it a day. I wasted over $65 on nothing and now I have to find something else to eat! I do not recommend and will never eat here again! Horrible customer service. I placed an order online for pick up and when I placed the order nowhere on the website did it specify that I needed to bring my physical card and id to pick up my food. I was emailed a receipt saying to pick up my food in 20-25 minutes. I arrived with my receipt from my personal email on my phone and they asked for my debit card and identification card I told them I don’t have it because I rushed out the house on my e bike to grab the food before the snow starting piling up. I stated that nowhere while placing the order or after the order is placed does it specify that I need to bring my physical card and identification card to pick up food especially when I have the receipt . They told me we don’t need to tell you it’s our restaurant. I asked for my money back which they gave me and I left and I will never come again didn’t try the food don’t wanna try it no more. I don’t understand how you can’t give me my order because I don’t give up my id and debit but you can give me my money when I ask for it back with no id or debit. I personally think they’re running a scam so be careful...
