Key Food Supermarkets — Local services in New York

Not bad (only cause near my home lol) but fruits are usually disgusting and sometimes so are the vegetable...aisle are always full with boxes right on the way the products and sometimes makes it hard to get what you want..constantly have expiredor about to expire bread...also the beefsteak (cube steak which supposed to have kinda od a thin cut) are cut a bit to thick (almost an inch thick..ridiculous) which if you cut in squares then can use them as stew meat, thats how thick they are cut lol..plus they like hiding the nasty meat below the good meat and you can't tell until you arrive home and remove it from package to cook..hate that!..also can see it with the ground beef, the outside is nice and red looking while in center (when break it up to cook) it looks darkish brown or grey and stinks. Yuck....about the fruit and vegetables, even an employee told the manager (or owner) that they have to remove the rotten fruits and vegetables out else they will spoil the rest (employee said it after seeing a bunch of rotten tomatoes) and the manager said...

Price is too expensive and sometimes meats are spoiled get it home and it smells awful. I know a few people had the same experience and they had to return it. Other than that it convenient to walk to. The staff are pleasant and courteous. I do feel that the meat cutters should be more available for the customers. They are always gone and nobody to assist the customers which is very inconvenient it's like they are forcing you to buy products for all that money and not getting good service. This is the first supermarket that the cutters is gone way before the store closes. I really don't want to rate this but again people are being forced to lie and put something in order to be posted. Not cool at...

I totally enjoy shopping at Key Food especially the one at Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie, their shelves and but produce are always fresh and neatly stock. I absolutely love purchasing my meat there, they are always fresh, neatly package and reasonable price. Not to mention it's always squeaky clean I moved out of the area over a year ago and I still get my groceries there. My friends think that I am being ridiculous to leave from my area where there are 3 supermarket to get grocery at Key food especially since I have to take the train. But I am sold on them. Their staff are quite pleasant...
