This place has the worst customer service on earth. It’s almost laughable it’s so bad. There is a group of viking women who smoke outside and they are rude and loud. The one in the deli has never gotten my order right. Not much interaction with the younger one with glasses but they look to be related. They have always excepted EBT from me until yesterday when I was told rather loudly at check out that, “THERE ARE SIGNS ALL OVER THE STORE”, I was confused as I had literally used it there just a few weeks prior and I repeated it’s an EBT card. Of which she replied, “I don’t care what it is we don’t take it.” Oh, okay. I am a student finishing up my 19 credits for my bachelors so I have an EBT CARD for help, no shame there. I quarantined myself during this pandemic because I get hospitalized with pneumonia. I don’t have to explain this and certainly not in the store. The first time, there was moldy bread. The second time, I purchased a can of Chef Boyardee, and that was also expired. Today, I purchased some Morning Star sausages that are SUPPOSED to be frozen, and they were fully thawed.
What kind of business regularly sells expired items to their community? I wanted to give them a chance, but I genuinely think I will not be returning.
Added comment on Jult 15, 2025: The staff here chew betel nut, also known as paan, and spit the remnants around the neighborhood, and in front of the store front. This is a health hazard and...
