We toured Little Daydreamers 2 (LDD2) on the day before our son was born. We were so impressed by the warmth and professionalism shown by Brenda, Kexia and their team that we put down our deposit right away. In fact, we often say that choosing LDD2 was our first big decision as parents -- and we could not have been happier with how the experience has turned out.
LDD2 provided a safe, welcoming, healthy and nurturing environment for our son and we fully recommend this daycare to any parent in the area.
Care: Since our son's very first day at LDD2 when he was 5 months old, Brenda, Kexia and the team have felt like an extension of our own family. In particular, we would like to thank Kexia, Site Director and Ydalia for their help and support during our time at LDD2. They are truly gifted caregivers and we feel blessed that they were among the first and most frequent caregivers for our child in his first two years.
Communication: The team at LDD2 provides very clear and frequent communications throughout the day through an app and there's a live camera feed. We always felt up-to-date throughout the day and the staff always gave us a review of the day when we picked up our son. This communication really helped us as new parents -- we always knew if he had a good nap, had eaten well, when his diaper was changed and all the other little details new parents want to hear about.
Organization/Professionalism: As the team director, Brenda was an excellent partner to us as parents. Billing was simple and efficient, and updates about staffing, COVID protocols and other topics were always communicated to us clearly and with plenty of notice. Brenda genuinely strives to run the best daycare center in the area. Our son was at LDD2 through all the various waves of COVID (and subsequent waves of RSV and other viruses as the world reopened!) and Brenda and Kexia's commitment to run a healthy daycare was fantastic and far exceeded what we have heard is the norm at other daycares.
All to say, we are very grateful to the LDD2 team and recommend them...
Read moreLittle DayDreamers (LDD) has been like a dream to us. When we were first time parents we were really nervous about finding the right daycare for our child and worried about how our baby would adjust to daycare after only being at home with us. Thanks to all the love and care from the ladies at LDD, our first baby adjusted to daycare in no time. And he was so happy there. Now we have our second child at LDD too.
What I want to emphasize more than anything is that I know when my child is at LDD, she is happy and loved, not just watched, fed, and changed. For couple months, our second child was at a different cheaper daycare in the neighborhood while we had TWO kids in full-time daycare. She was perfectly safe and cared for at the other daycare, but she was definitely not as happy as she is at LDD. There are mornings when my child jumps into one of the ladies' arms at drop off time (even when it wasn't a tough morning at home!).
When we first started, I loved being able to check on my baby any time during the day through the daycare cameras. Now I check less partially because I know my child is doing so well. Brenda and the staff always worked with us through any developmental changes and life adjustments: nap schedules, switching from milk to solids, potty training (with both kids!), moves, deaths in the family, and pandemic (!!!), etc. I obviously cannot recommend LDD enough. There are not enough words that I can use to convey how grateful...
Read moreWe enrolled our daughter at LDD2 when she was about 13 months old and we are so happy we did. We knew we loved the place from the moment we toured and met Brenda and Kexia. The intake process was seamless and both Brenda and Kexia took their time to get to know us and set up the transition week for our daughter. As new parents, this really made us feel at ease and that we picked the right place for us. Ydalia, Helen, Diana and the rest of the staff at LDD2 are so incredibly kind, warm, thoughtful and caring. They have become an extension of our family. The staff to child ratio is low which means your child will get lots of individualized attention. Our daughter has THRIVED here. She loves her teachers, and her fellow classmates have become her close friends. Honestly, sometimes on days when she is home with us she is actually bored :-). We love that they take the children out every day for a nature walk, and have daily circle and reading time, as well as music and sign language classes! My daughter is even learning Spanish, it's so awesome! The staff still take great covid precautions, they have an app and camera access so you get updates throughout the day, and they are really good at helping you through any and all of life transitions for your little one. I would recommend LDD2 a thousand times over. We absolutely love...
