READ BEFORE THINKING ABOUT GETTING YOUR PHONE SCREEN REPLACED!!!! About 2 months ago, I cracked my iPhone X screen. I did some work for these people so I figured I would go to them for my phone repair. They charged me around 350$ to replace the front screen of my iPhone. A little pricey to me but I needed it fixed ASAP because I use it for business. Couple hours go by, the work was all done. They tried telling me that they gave me a deal and used a stock iPhone X screen rather than a manufacture screen from China instead. At first I believed them, thanked them and even tipped for the work they did for me. Later that night I go to use the flashlight button on the home screen it turns it on but doesn’t turn it off. So I would have to go into the phone and turn it off another way, which again it’s fine I’ll live with that. At nighttime when you turn the brightness down you can instantly tell that it is not actually a stock IPhone screen, it is way too dim and the colors fade on the phone(having iPhones for the past 5 years I know how it looks with different brightness levels) again, wasn’t a deal breaker for me I will live with it. My problem with them is suddenly, my screen started to turn purple in the corner, and then fully purple blue from the bottom up. I never dropped it since, I haven’t thrown it in water just all of a sudden all the color started to fade. I am an honest man, I help run a business and would never screw anybody over. I go in there expecting to get an explanation for this and hopefully a warranty being that it has only been 2 months since I’ve had this. The lady in there was trying her hardest to find any type of small scratch on the screen and pin it on me. There is no one crack on my screen but she insisted that a tiny hair scratch is one of the reasons why it is doing what it’s doing. She proceeds to tell me there’s scratches on my screen of my phone and that is why the warranty is voided. “We tell all our customers to buy one of our screen protectors just to make sure it wasn’t us.” Is what she told me. Bottom line is, I would never go back here for anything and would never recommend anybody to do so if they have any issues with their phones. I’m out 350$ and a phone screen. Do yourself a favor, go to Apple directly and have your screen replaced and just eat the price of it because Atleast you will know the job is done right, the screens they use are their own stock screens and they would offer warranties on the replacement, especially if it’s only been 2 months with ZERO cracks...
Read moreDO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! I brought my laptop in for repair because the fan stopped working. They ordered the part, and then told me they ordered the wrong one so I had to wait longer. Then I got a call saying my motherboard has water damage and that's why the fan isn't working. So I said "the actual fan is fine then and we don't need that part?" And they replied "no, it's both." Highly unlikely. So they charged me for both. They take weeks to fix it. I finally get it back, and I still have the same problem - fan doesn't kick on and the laptop overheats. Not only that, but they broke the clips that hold my keyboard down to the laptop and it was lifted up and won't sit properly. I take it back, pointed out all of the problems, and the process starts again. I get another call from them saying my hard drive is bad. They said because of the inconvenience they will replace it for free. I had a high quality hard drive (7200rpm) so I told them they need to match the quality of my current one and they agreed. About another week later I get the laptop back and lo and behold, the hard drive they gave me was slower (5400rpm). I use this laptop for work and would have paid for a high quality hard drive if something was actually wrong with the other one. Also, the keyboard wasn't fixed. They simply trued to use double sided tape to hold it down, which did not work. It's still lifted up to this day. Months go by and I need to connect my laptop to a projector and when I do, the projected image is not in HD. I look at the port to my graphics card and it's colored black - my original one was colored blue. I scan my computer for the Radeon graphics card that came with the laptop, and it could not be found. So they clearly stole my high quality HD graphics card and replaced it with a low quality SD one. Too much time has gone by for me to expect them to do anything about it - they have a short warranty time window. These people are thieves...
Read moreI JUST got home with the phone U got fixed and 84 seem fine and working properly ..
I called the location and asked them if they had my screen in stock and a price ...
The man who answered the phone gave me a price of $180 . I explained I got a price of $118 but the part would not be in until Friday .
He then ttold me he would call his manager and ask if he could do it for my price and call me back . but the part was not in stock but he could get it the following day and I would have to drop off a deposit today no matter what the price because he does not have it in inventory . I agreed if he could do it for the same price I would come by in an hour and leave a deposit if he could do it for the same price ..
He called me back and said he spoke to his manager and he will be there in an hour and have it with him .
So I went to the store and waited 40 mins and then was told I would have to pay $150 if I wanted it today .. I asked why when I was told $118 ..
The boss I assume told me that the part cost $100 I had to pay for his time to bring it to the store and I had to pay for someone to fix it ..
So I was given a choice... Buy it or do not buy it I waited an hour to go to the store then waited 40 mins for someone to tell me I was being charged more ....
I could go on and on how unprofessional this experience was but I wound up paying $146 total . $28 more then I was told I would have to do make sure when you go here the price you pay is what they say ...
While I was there someone else has to pay more for a speaker or something also ironically $28 more then they were told . He was told after the repair that they had to replace a speaker and that customer was there when I got there so he could have been told before the phone was fixed ..
The customer was an older guy and just paid and left but also was...
