PROFILED AT TARGET 225st by Employee name EVA at self checkout.
Today I had a terrible experience at target on 225th st. I went to target with my little sister who has a get together with her friends tonight and wanted to find a cute outfit. Never would I have imagined that we would be profiled. My sister tried on different size outfits in the fitting room excited for her event. We waited in line at self checkout and an employee name EVA told us to get off the self checkout line and go to the registers if we have more than 10 items. I didnāt see her asking anyone but my sister and I. Her focus was solely on us. I explained to another employee me and my sister have separate items so we are basically two different customers and the other employee didnāt have an issue she let us use self checkout. Employee Eva returns and states wow I told u both if itās 10 or more u canāt use self check out she proceeded to SAY OVER THE WALKIE IN FRONT OF OTHER GUEST AND EMPLOYEE PLEASE WATCH THE REGISTER THEY ARE USING. I have witness who can attest to this. She kept telling us to get off self check after I had already paid for my items. This was very unprofessional , She made us seem like as if we were stealing. I told her she can watch us checkout if she is suspicious of anything and she stated in front of other customers ā I have to watch other peopleā. Making everyone feel uncomfortable. I even showed my receipt to the other employee of my purchase and I told EVA that and she didnāt seem to care. I then was able to speak to the manager and she also admitted that was unacceptable I also reported this incident to corporate. I would have never imagined this would happened to me and my little sister I really hope this matter is addressed and no other customer have to experience this. This was humiliating and embarrassing. I will make sure that this matter gets known I am close with people in the industry who have a supportive large audience. I want to make sure this doesnāt happen to anyone else. I feel like Hispanic and African Americans are usually targeted in these business and itās time for a change. We are all equal and l work very hard for my earnings working in the medical field to experience this behavior from an employee at target.Target needs to follow up and address these behavior. Thank you to the store manager who apologized for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've recently shopped at Target and to tell you the truth it was horrible. After spending over two hundred dollars already I needed to still get some pajamas, so being tired I went on to the rear of the store to the men's department. I was already loaded down with purchases, but I hadn't thought I was going to pick up anything much more so bringing a cart or getting a basket wasn't on my mind. So I hunted around for a pair of pajamas as well as picking up other things I really didn't need, by this time I had my own cart I use to bring home purchases, a big bag as well plus items in my left arm. Being tired at this point I walked over to an employee at the women's changing area standing behind a desk. I saw two baskets behind her which one was empty, I walked up to her and asked very politely, do you have a basket you can spare? She saw that I had my hands full, said to me yes go up front. I was stunned, I said you mean to tell me you don't have a spare basket you can give me, She said, up front pointing, I thought many bad thoughts I would've liked to expressed to her, but being a born again Christian I held my tongue and just told her, whatever you do will come back to you three times and then I walked towards the front of the store. At first I was going to just check out, but something inside said to inform a manager. So I walked around until I found one and explain what I just went through. She was very understanding and apologised for that employee for not accommodating me and called the manager in that department about the incident. She apologised again to me and I thanked her, she said the matter will be taken care of. I feel that any store who employs people young or older should trained them to be polite and helpful but most of all accommodate the customers when possible. Had she given me the basket I would have done a little more shopping spending more money, but do to her nasty attitude all I wanted to do was get out of the store and go home. I hope my experience will help others shoppers as well as store owners that politeness and accommodating is important to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI couldn't hate this place more. I thought it was horrendous through the renovations but now that they've completed them, it's still the worst Target store I visit.
The first problem is they completely redesigned the store. when they did they decided they were going to not only move everything but not label the Isle so that you know where everything is. So now, I have to roam up and down the main aisles to find where I need to be. The drug store area is an absolute disaster. Not the pharmacy but the shampoos shave cream all bath accessories, etc. I wondered up and down up and down up and down the main aisle trying to figure out where everything was. I finally found the body wash, as limited as it was, in the mouthwash aisle, as usual, the shelves or either emptied or in such disarray that you can't find anything. Case in point; bathroom wipes. They had three containers of cottonelle on the shelf, which I don't use of course, and they didn't even have their own up & up wipes. The shelves were not only empty of the product that was supposed to be there but then they had some random sponges sitting on it. I never found the workout clothes. They conveniently leave prices off of certain items so that you either just buy them or you have to wander around the store to locate a scanner. Do not have any expectations of finding a human being that will help you because you will be very disappointed. If all of that weren't enough to make it so that I will never walk into that store again, I had to use the restroom before I left and it was so disgustingly filthy. Each stall was worse than the next. Another woman and I had a few disgusted chuckles over this. I didn't have a choice but to utilize the bathroom. Finally, when I come out of that repulsive stall, none of the sinks worked. They were all bone dry with the exception of one. I had to go through all of them to find one, but the was one sink was operational with cold only water. In order to sanitize your hands you must have hot water.
Hands down, today will be the last time...
