NYC Tan — Local services in New York

Went in for a tan here for the 1st time before going on vacation. Used the strongest machine and purchasing their darkest tanning Lotion over the counter. Came out looking exactly as I left - white as a ghost. I asked the girl why am I still so white and she said it takes a few hours to take effect. Day later still nothing. Place is a scam and machines don’t even work. STAY AWAY! Never again will I come back here or recommend to anyone.

Reply to your message below: the woman who was at front i told her I want to be dark for vacation that im going next day she assured me to use the highest level of the machine with the darkest tanning lotion that I purchased in your store. If she knew I wasn’t going to get color why guide me to use that machine and to purchase the highest tanning product? So that was your strongest. I went tanning many times before and I ALWAYS got some color even if it was not such a strong machine, Even if it’s a little shade of color. I don’t know what machine she put me in maybe it was malfunctioned but seriously I won’t recommend this place to anyone after the experience I had. I went to Aruba white as ghost. You guys didnt even want to refund me or Give me a chance to use it again for free since I got no color whatsoever so machines are terrible as well as customer service. I Love NYC Tan my tan always comes out phenomenal the employees are amazing always so attentive ,helpful & friendly Bella is my absolute favorite every lotion she has recommend I loved , she will not recommend a lotion that she does not like herself she’s honest (she learned that from the manager tiff) Tiff is also great & friendly knows the ins & outs of the lotions both always happy to help & explain any questions I ever had !! The owner is absolutely amazing as well John will make sure his customers are satisfied that’s his top priority he’s respectful polite & friendly the whole team is honestly great the rooms are always & I mean always spotless never garbage in the pails towels always clean along with the tanning beds his prices r also affordable & best I found on the island over all I love it here !! My natural color is Casper white I will leave a picture to show how natural the tan leaves you & when I tan on a weekly basis I get soooooo dark !! had an absolutely terrible experience at this tanning loft. The credit card system was down, which I understand can happen, but the way the owner treated me was beyond unprofessional. Instead of being helpful or apologetic, the owner was screaming at me and was incredibly rude. I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. The owner is completely disrespectful, a total disgrace !! Normally, a “owner” would try to accommodate a customer in a situation like this. However, the owner displayed thug-like behavior—extremely dismissive and highly unprofessional. It was a disappointing experience.I’ve never encountered such hostility from someone in a customer-facing role.The owner’s rude, unprofessional behavior is a prime example of why this place will go out of business—bad customer service will catch up to them.I will never be coming back, and I strongly advise others to avoid...
