Unfortunately I go very early and alot of things I need aren't in stock. My biggest complaint is I cannot get my coldcuts sliced thin no matter how I ask. I returned them once and when it happened again after that I just gave up and getting my coldcuts elsewhere The point system they added is great and it definitely helps with savings
I really try not to shop here but I was running short on time and needed coldcuts and this is just one of the reasons I try to go to another grocery store. I walked up to the deli counter and there were 4 workers and no line. They all saw me but continued on with whatever they were doing. It was now 6 minutes standing there. I tracked teatime on my phone. Nit one if them came to help me. Another woman came and u told her I'm not being helped yet and waited a minute and then left as another woman approached. I told her I have been here for 7 minutes and she called over to them and asked if someone was going to help us. She didn't get a response and said she's going to speak to a manager and walked away. I waited another minute and finally left and went to the desk and asked for a manager. After waiting another 3 minutes she approached andvivtold her what happened her response was. "I'll take care of it" as she was walking away from me. Her response suggested otherwise. This store really needs new management. The only nice person was the woman behind the customer service desk who apologized to me. The manager didn't even do that. Needless to say I drove to Shoprite and what a difference. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've called multiple times the corporate number on this store since when I come to this store every Saturday morning, there are only one or two cashiers there which then the lines are super long, no one is managing the floor and then I'm forced to use the self checkout, which I despise. Every time I end up going to the self checkout, either I always have an issue with the machine which I have to wait for someone to help and then getting stares at other customers waiting on line at the self checkout when they have only three items and I have a whole cart. It's very disheartening that this issue STILL has not been rectified. Other local supermarkets have multiple registers open at all times. If this continues, you are going to lose another customer. In addition, I was embarrassed by the Produce associate or manager once cause most of the apples were rotted so I went to put it back and he berated me in front of other customers yelling out loud, "Hey buddy stop throwing the apples". I was clearly putting them back because the majority of them were rotted. These experiences are not good customer service practices. They have seemingly replaced a huge chunk, if not all of the staff, installed more self check-out areas and fancy camera's but for whatever reason the aisles are looking pretty rough. On more than one occasion I have been in since the changing of the guard and various aisles are just left half empty, and products that were once on those shelves are just gone completely, never to return it appears. In other instances an item might be there but it's appearance and quality would lead you to believe that it has been dug out of the depths of the storage room. This isn't one or two items, this will be entire brands and everything that brand makes just gone with nothing in its place. Or in it's place will be a small section of the stop and shop dupe in mangled filthy packaging. Maybe this is just while they are upgrading and they really are just emptying the backroom/not accepting shipments for improvements but it's still not...
