This store does not respect medical exemptions. They harassed me because I cannot wear a mask due to a medical condition ( I do not have to share my condition due to HIPPA laws) and yelled at me while I was trying to shop. No one was in the store. This is a violation of the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Title II of the Civil Rights Act. I explained my rights and that a mask mandate is not the law for anyone, just a government suggestion. The woman behind the counter told me to change the news station I watch, trying to insinuate that I am a Trump supporter, when in reality I am just someone who suffers with a medical condition. They threatened to call the cops on me if I did not leave the store. Not sure why, because the cops can't arrest me, since its not a law. If they were wearing masks, why couldn't they just let me shop in peace? I would have been in and out, instead they scrutinized me and made me feel super uncomfortable for having a medical condition. Their store hours indicate they close 6 nights, out of 7, at 8pm, as indicated in this advertisement. I arrived there one night at 6:50pm to buy a sympathy card. They claimed they close at 7, even though I showed them their own advertisement. I then explained I needed to buy a sympathy card for a funeral Mass I was attending the next morning.
