I was really excited when this business opened but it’s already reached a point where it needs to reevaluate its structure and upgrade its standards. It’s unfortunate that the quality of the coffee is extremely inconsistent and has significantly gone down in general. Regular lattes and Aden chai tastes watery, the place is extremely dirty and not cleaned regularly, the floors need to be sweeped and mopped, tables need to be cleaned after each customer, even the walls need to be wiped. They need to hire more experienced baristas who know how to run a coffee shop. And the hours are inconsistent too, with some mornings opening later than others. The food is pretty overpriced, and it's mid. The tarts taste watery, as if they’ve been recently thawed. The pastries available are inconsistent, and recently, there isn’t too big of a variety (it’s mostly croissants). Bünn Café is the kind of spot you wish every neighborhood had. The coffee is legit—smooth, strong, and actually made with care, not just rushed out like some places. The oat milk latte is a solid choice, and if you’re into matcha, theirs is balanced, not overly sweet.

But let’s talk about the food. The empanadas? Easily some of the best I’ve had—flaky, flavorful, and packed with filling. The croissants hit that perfect buttery, crispy balance, and everything just tastes fresh. It’s clear they put thought into what they serve.

The vibe here is what really seals it, though. It’s got that cozy, laid-back energy that makes you want to stay a while. I recently visited the new Bünn Café, and I’m so glad I did! The place is absolutely gorgeous—beautifully decorated, giving off such a warm and inviting vibe. It’s also incredibly clean, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.

The highlight of my visit was the amazing customer service. The girl behind the counter was so sweet and attentive. She genuinely cared about making sure my order was perfect before proceeding to make my latte. Since I can’t do dairy, she went out of her way to ask what kind of milk I preferred and offered a great selection of non-dairy options.
