Being a New York based bride, I knew there were so many options and when I found Pre-Dame..I immediately knew they were the ones. One of my other girlfriend’s had previously used them for their Fall wedding as well (to rave reviews and also married in NYC) and I booked them immediately after talking with my girlfriend.

Stefanie and Michael guided me through my rehearsal and wedding looks. Helping me find modern and polished styles to match my beloved Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Emilia Wickstead looks that I’ve been coveting for over a year. I have been growing my hair out for my wedding (over 16 inches) and originally wanted to wear my hair down. Instead, I decided when I got to the studio and was greeted with their positive energy and creativity I decided to release all ideas and let them do what they do best and recommend what would best compliment my looks and style. Absolutely no regrets and have never looked back on wearing my hair down/my original ideas.

I am so glad that I let the pros do what the pros do best. Oh did I mention that it rained all day on my wedding? My make-up and hair stayed flawless all night. And I mean ALL NIGHT. A few of us ended up at Brooklyn Mirage (huge outdoor techno venue) that night until 4 am…and my hair and make-up looked and felt like I had just had it done despite being whipped around by the elements and some intense bass haha.

During my trials, rehearsal dinner, and wedding, they made sure every detail was perfection. I always felt like they were on my side, creating room and opportunity to change things, showing me new looks, and making my family and friends feels special and listened to.

Beyond that, when at their studio for my trial, there was an unparalleled warmth, creative spirit and love. When debating styles, every stylist lent their time and attention (even if they weren’t your artist. Shoutout to Sandy and Amy!!!).

I truly felt so taken care of, their attention to every detail was beyond, and they make the entire process from inquiry, booking, and coordination with your wedding planner a breeze. As someone in the creative hospitality industry that has dealt with countless guest facing interactions, I couldn’t believe the level of service I received.

Additionally, Michael and Stefanie did the hair and make-up for my six year old niece. They made her feel so incredibly special and loved. She occasionally would watch Michael and Stefanie work, answering her questions and being so genuinely kind to a 6 year old first time flower girl. I was (and still am) so touched. Her mother told me that and I quote “it was the best day of her life”. Thank you for creating this special lifelong moment for her.

On a personal note, Stefanie (who is the owner of Pre-Dame for anyone reading this)…You are amazing and the whole ethos and vibe of your company radiates warmth and the love that you embody. Anyone that gets the pleasure and opportunity to work with this her/this company will know what I mean.

I could go on and and on and on singing praises about the Pre-Dame team. I worked with Stefanie, Allie, and Sofie. From the day of my trail, right to the moment I walked down the aisle, the women that I worked with made me feel beautiful, special, and cared for. The day wouldn't have been the same without them.

Sofie did hair for me and my girls. We all have different textures, lengths, and styles, but she made all of us shine. Her talent is crazy and all our styles lasted through a muggy August day. She tamed my extremely thick and unruly hair into the curls, and then updo, of my dreams!! Sofie stayed with me for the entire day and I REALLY did not want to let her go. Her calming presence and willingness to jump in and help whenever needed, while also making sure I didn't starve and that everyone's hair stayed on point, was life saving. Weddings are stressful, but Sofie really made me feel like I had someone in my corner. She is truly an angel!

Allie absolutely crushed it with all the girls' makeup. We are all so different, but everyone looked so crazy beautiful while still looking cohesive and, most importantly, like themselves. Allie was so gracious with everyone, collaborating with them to create the perfect look. My mom, in particular, was so nervous to have her makeup done for the firs time, but Allie eased her fears and made her look GLOWING. She couldn't have been happier, and that meant the world to me. I LOVED my trial look, but somehow with just a few tweaks, Allie made my day-of look even BETTER. She helped make me feel so beautiful and confident, which is huge when you're in front of a camera all day! Allie's sweet and lovely energy really helped cultivate that girlhood magic for a morning with my best friends that I'll remember forever.

Stefanie is a superhero. Her energy during my trail and throughout the planning process was unmatched! It's so abundantly clear how much she loves her job, and how passionate she about helping execute your vision, while being there to lend her expertise and a guiding hand if needed. One of my favorite experiences in my whole planning process was brainstorming the two looks we did for my wedding day. When I was overwhelmed with planning everything myself, Stefanie stepped in with the PERFECT day-of beauty schedule. Really, she went above and beyond and I am so grateful.

I think the length of this review speaks for itself lol (sorry!), but I would go with Pre-Dame again and again and again. I can't recommend...

I wanted to thank you so much for being a part of the best weekend of my life! There were so many nerves about how I would look/feel for my wedding and I am SO happy with how everything turned out. I felt so beautiful and taken care of all weekend.

Sandy and Sophie knocked my rehearsal dinner look out of the park – They were open to my thoughts and willing to change the tiniest little details to make me feel perfect.

Besides being so talented, they are the absolute sweetest people and their energy just made the weekend that much more enjoyable. I knew after working with them for the rehearsal night that I had total confidence in my wedding look – but I was truly blown away by everything they did for me that day. They were by my side through the first look and bridal party pictures, fixing any little imperfection they saw. They fit in perfectly, working around the photographer and videographer and never got in the way but somehow were around when I needed it.

Sophie whipped out a fan when the sun got really strong – I cracked up laughing because I didn’t think they could be more helpful and then they were! She offered me her shoes when we had to walk a few minutes back to our bus, and thought I would be uncomfortable walking on rocks in my heels. They took so many photos on my phone which I am so thankful for because I know it will be months before I see photos from the photographer.

Future brides will be so lucky to work with Sandy and Sophie for how talented, professional, and personable they are.

While I didn’t get to know Allie or Anna well, my bridesmaids all looked stunning and naturally themselves. They all thought this was their best Hair and Makeup experience.
