Ennis Playground — Attraction in New York

beautiful redo of a park that's been there forever! basketball court on 12th st. side then moves into a seating area with benches n chess/checker embossed table tops with 4 chairs a piece. theres a huge "grass" area for kids too play in .very soft..then a sprinkler system that works by pressing a button so water doesn't just keep running and waste. a nice playground gym...then more benches along the shade. then finally my favorite part- swings 2 adult and 2 children's boat types! had a light lunch there with a friend on a gorgeous day and...

We love this hidden gem. It’s a little far and I’m a bit of a weird area, but it’s nice and quiet. Very new playground with a lot of modern features. Very spacious. If I had one complaint it’s that there isn’t a lot of shade on hot days. Hopefully the trees around will eventually change that but make sure to bring some sunscreen! Also bring bathing suits for kids in the summer, the water...
