I am NOT one to normally review but this cannot go unrecognized. This was the worst nail experience of my life THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. All I asked for was a normal spa pedicure with callus treatment and French extensions, if there was time maybe something else, but really, THE ULTIMATE BASICS. I scheduled far in advance, called to confirm, wrote many notes in my reservation and made sure they knew it was for my wedding and what I was looking for. It was no surprise at all. I came in early for the appointment because they had space and was there for 4 HOURS AND THIS NOT ONLY WAS NOT COMPLETED BUT DONE HORRIBLY AND I WAS EVEN HURT to the point of a swollen finger and throbbing. She pushed up on my extension so hard!! They did the pedicure and it was the worst, she didnt care, she didnt even try, 2 DAYS LATER AND THE POLISH IS CHIPPED. I had to even had more on top myself later to try and cover her mistakes before my wedding. When they cut my friends cuticles they brushed everything into her spa water with no regard. Wow. No shape, calluses everywhere, I didnt say anything as I figured I would move on and hope it would get better. IT GOT WORSE. She SPENT OVER 3 HOURS SHAPING MY NAILS BECAUSE SHE KEPT MAKING THEM COMPLETELY CROOKED. I had to ask her to fix them so much, especially my ring finger which was sideways at the time. Because of me having more to do she never even got to polishing, I had other appointments BECAUSE 4 HOURS SHOULD BE ENOUGH. At some point someone should have helped or switched her out, everyone saw how miserable I was. I even asked for someone else to help her since I was low on time and they didnt assist at all. My MOH prepaid as a gift and they wouldn't even refund her!!! She had to tell them she paid for jewels and French and more and nothing was completed and she even pre-tipped! They offered her $32 in return, I was appalled. I ENDED UP HAVING TO GO TO TARGET AND PAINT MY OWN NAILS MYSELF THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. I has to add sparkles to save the image of the shape, the idea there was no polish on, and it was completely uneven. HERE I AM ONLY 4 DAYS AFTER GETTING THEM DONE AND ONE HAS BROKEN DOWN TO THE MIDDLE OF MY REAL NAIL AND CRACKED IN HALF (this is the finger she pushed up on and hurt me btw) AFTER I PAID FOR THE ULTIMATE GEL THAT SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE KEYBOARD WORK. We must have spent almost $400 at this salon if not more and left having to seek other places to fix or do them ourselves. I was mortified and so stressed out I was crying because this is the one time I wanted them to look nice for my special day. Horrible, no one cared, I was happy going in and just so miserable by the time I came out. They really ruined my only day I had to relax and enjoy preparing to be a bride. Its obvious they just want the business so they kept getting people in and out so quickly. My MOHs nails had bubbles and scratches before she even left the place. Their excuse for the timing was they wanted to make it special but they just gave me to the slowest person there who was horrible at their job. If that was true my toes wouldve been done great and I wouldn't of had to tell her that her work was crooked. Thank god I didnt see how the French was going to turn out.

I usually go to QQ Nails and Spa for manicures, and I’ve always had a wonderful experience there. That’s why I trusted them enough to try their waxing service—but it turned out to be a decision I truly regret. The person assigned to me was completely inexperienced; it felt like she was practicing on me for the very first time. Instead of applying wax in small sections, she covered my entire arm at once, then pressed it down by smacking my skin with her palm. It felt careless, almost playful, and not at all professional. I tried to brush it off until she reached the inside of my arm. The pain was excruciating, and shortly after, I noticed a large bruise forming on my forearm. When I got home and saw how bad it looked, I broke down and cried. No customer should leave a spa in pain, feeling like their trust was misplaced. I sincerely hope management takes this as a wake-up call. Waxing is not something that should ever be left to trial and error. Management needs to standardize training and ensure every employee has reached a certain level of skill and competency before being allowed to perform any procedure. Customers walk in with trust, expecting safe and professional care—not injuries. While I will continue to come here for manicures, I will never return for waxing. I hope my experience prevents this from happening to someone else, and that the spa takes steps to ensure no other client leaves hurt and disappointed.

I got an almond gel x manicure. It didn't turn out great. The nails aren't shaped well. I also wanted it to be a red cat eye. It is pink. There are blemishes and slight air pockets in the nails. When I brought it to Eva's attention, she slightly buffed one nail and used some alcohol. That's it. I had a follow up appointment that I was running late for so I had to leave. Additionally, I was a bit indecisive on the color. My nail beds are wider than average and it looks like they didn't have my exact size. Based on that and the fact that I booked at 11 am but didn't finish until after 1, I think my appointment went over time and she was a bit over the experience. I paid $125 for this plus a $25 tip and I don't think this was worth the price. They also ask for you to review them as they're standing in front of you which feels like subtle pressure to rate them well. I left feeling unsatisfied with the final product. I ended up buffing off some of the larger blemishes at home. Overall, the ambiance and vibes were nice and calming. They are polite. Eva placed a hot towel on my hands and gave me a short massage towards the end of the appointment. I can't rate this a 2.5 so I'll give them a 3/5 stars. First picture is a screenshot of the video tutorial that I showed Eva, the rest are my nails.

I had very high hopes seeing how many reviews they had but unfortunately they did not live up to the expectations. This is probably the worst experience I’ve had at a nail salon, Linda did not listen to anything I asked nor was she detailed oriented. Her attitude was so awful from the start. The moment I walked in, I had a feeling the experience was going to be horrible. First the store was really hot (it was a random hot day in the city too), they open all their doors prob too air out the store but it was gross inside. I showed Linda a picture of what I wanted to get done, she was confident that she could do it. I also let her know if it’s too much trouble or it can’t be done then I’ll be fine with just color gel. She was telling her friend in Chinese she didn’t know how to do and thought I didn’t understand which made me more concerned. She proceeded with the usual process but it’s not how my usual experience has been. Nail techs would ask you what color you want, what shape you want and if you want to cut. Linda went straight into it and didn’t ask or discuss what I wanted. I also told her I had chip nails on both thumbs so she can help me fix it. She fixed only one and said the other is fine. Come the day after, the chip got worse and is definitely not fine. She just didn’t want to do it and her attitude was like “oh yea whatever it’s fine”. I also have a finger where my nail grows more to the left, experienced nail techs would shape it to make it look even. I showed her what she did and she said “yea that’s your nails fault, not me” which goes back to her poor attitude and attention to detail. She offered to “fix” it but literally just filed it for like a second and was like okay all good! My entire experience was so so so bad, I usually don’t write reviews but this was such an awful experience. Granted it’s one of the cheapest gel manicures I paid for and I tipped her bc she still did the work but you literally get what you pay for. Poor customer service, poor attitude, poor attention to detail and poor quality. My nails are more fragile now too bc she shaved down more than the gel I had on. I would 10000% never ever come back and HIGHLY recommend...

Went in for a mani-pedi. I wanted gel but they were rushing me through picking my color and kept asking me to take the color books with me to the chair. I picked a regular nail color and decided to stick with it. Before any color was applied, I asked if they could do rhinestones on four of my fingernails, but they couldn’t understand what I was asking and when we bridged the language barrier, they kept saying the stones fall off regular polish. I said I understood and was okay with that, but when my toes were finished (in the color I was rushed to pick and wasn’t really happy with) and we started on the fingers, they told me they couldn’t do stones at all. Fine. I asked them to do gel on four nails only and please put the stones on those four. Then some guy came over and told me it would be $15 for each nail I wanted that on, so $60 on top of what was already nearly a $100 mani-pedi. Absolutely not.

To top it off, as I went to pay, I realized they put my black leather bag in a basket when they moved my stuff from the pedicure station to the manicure station and there was a white substance all over it that won’t wash off.

The mani-pedi itself was adequate, but a far cry from anything I would have chosen for myself had I not been rushed through the experience with no ability to communicate my needs to the staff. Seriously overpriced for this experience. Never would have paid for something I could have done at home myself without all the...
