Incredibly abusive and unprofessional behavior, to both my friend (examinee) and I.
My friend had an exam at 3:45pm. I drove us there and we reached pretty early, so I suggested he try driving this car for a second before his exam. We went around the corner, got back by 3:40pm or so, well before the exam, and my friend parked.
From the moment we parked, the DMV member started yelling at us:
"Are you here for the exam?" Yes "When's your exam?" 15:45. So in 4 minutes now "So why did you drive off?" Because we were early, and I figured he should get a chance to drive the car before the exam in 4 minutes "You could've finished the exam by now" ok, fair, that's on me for wasting my own time...but then again, we came sufficiently early, and still parked 5 minutes before the exam "Why are you [examinee] driving? Are you taking the exam?" Yes "You're not supposed to drive the car then. You do it right in front of me. In a classroom, do you go up to the chalkboard and write on the board?!" Honestly, at this point, I'm not convinced this individual should be evaluating exams. By NY law, any permit holder is permitted to drive the car, provided a licensed driver (me) is also in front seat of the car I'm trying to grab my registration and it's taking me a minute and I get a "can you do anything right?"
Just yelling and incredibly disrespectful behavior for no reason. Steer clear of this place. Pun intended, because you as a permit holder and a licensed friend, are permitted to do so in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExaminer 213 (African American male) is very courteous and friendly. Made me feel at ease. Had an altercation at this location before with his colleagues, where they refused me to take the test for no good reason. Honestly. It was a portly fella, older white male. EXTREMELY grumpy and nasty attitude. I am not sure what is wrong with this guy. Someone should offer him professional help. If you have this guy as your examiner, just tell him something came up and youāll reschedule. I would NOT want to do my test with that guy. 213 however was very friendly. You pretty much go down a few calm streets south of the cemetery. They make you parallel park in a calm residential street. Three point turn in a dead end/closed off kind of street. Just mind the stop signs at all intersections and you...

AT THE END HE LEFT THE CAR WITHOUT CLOSING THE DOOR!
