Lav Express Laundry — Local services in New York

I've been coming here for about 4 to 5 years and never really had a reason to feel negative about this place. The workers have always been nice and helpful to us however, in my more recent trips the place has been pretty dirty- hair all over, lint, dust. Doesn't look like they ever sweep. To make it even worst tonight's visit grossed me out as we seen roaches running throughout the floors and one huge one on the folding table. I was creeped out so bad. I mean i know this is possible anywhere and possibly everywhere but seriously- clean a little. Other then that the other headache is that they're almost always crowded here. However i guess that's not really their fault. Dirtiness and Roaches is a huge...

If I could leave zero stars here I would, I brought an expensive coat here after our water bursted in our apartment. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks for it to arrive but I kept on getting false information from the employees. Wasn't until I got direct information from the customer service person that I found out that my jacket still hasn't even worked on. They said they would get me an update to find out that the service that picks up the coat still hasn't even touched it and "returned " it. If you're doing dry cleaning on good quality clothes please go elsewhere. I got my return back in a check but now I have a jacket that has water damage for three weeks pretty much........

My favorite laundromat, always a great experience, and sometimes bonuses! : always has open machines when I go (usually at night), the machines are always well maintained and cleaned open 24 hrs (except during covid i think maybe?) vending machines for soap, candy, and toys (a claw machine in the back) when adding money to your laundry card, you can sometimes win the lottery and get extra money on your card from the machine! I've gotten extra $3 a few times already the employees and people are always very nice, and the tv's always have either news or a sports...
