The clothes that saree duniya brings in are very nice. I really like their prices and the quality of their clothes are great. I understand that the owner can’t control everything but the least he can do is appoint someone or make some sort of barricade or system for the line that is always out of control. On multiple occasions incidents are happening when it comes to waiting in line to get in the store. In the blazing sun people are waiting for hours and the workers are not letting people inside the store. He could appoint a worker to manage the line outside so that people aren’t skipping and the line flows better. People claim that they’ve been waiting since morning but they leave the line a comeback which is unfair to the people who genuinely made a line and stood for hours. It does not matter what time you come, because if you are not standing in an orderly fashion you are considered skipping. There is no direction to where the line begins or ends and they hand out tickets randomly to people that skip.
I also witnessed two incidents that really bothered me. First outside on the line there was a male customer who attempted to fight an older woman and he wouldn’t stop cursing her because he wanted to get ahead of the line. Then another incident occurred inside the store that also bothered me. Another different male customer spit on a woman inside the store and pushed her while attempting to hit her when they were shopping, and there was no recoil to stop him from doing that. These incidents occurred on the same day. So this should’ve prompt the owner to have better organization so that customers like that don’t disrespect or disrupt everybody else who is shopping or waiting in line. I understand that he can’t control everything but he should have some sort of organization because we aren’t getting these things for free after all we are paying customers. These are the type of incidents that make me question if going to his store to shop is even worth all of this headache, and I know a lot of people also feel the same way. Another thing is that he should have separate timings or products for people buying wholesale or limits because by the time you get in there’s no products for people to buy for their...
Read moreWedding planning is probably the most stressful journey a person can take. Between deciding on flowers, cake and a 500 person guest list... what your bridesmaids wear is the last thing on a bride’s mind. I decided on giving my bridesmaids their Indian outfits as a gift for being apart of the big day. When looking for outfits to fit everyone as well as fitting into my vision you can imagine it was very difficult. A friend of mine recommended Saree Duniya. My sister and I went and found a pattern that we were in love with. Unfortunately they didn’t have the quantity as well as the color I was looking for. So I spoke to the owner Akshay who was quite professional and very helpful. He was not only able to order the 8 pieces that I needed but he was able to get the color and plus sizes that I needed. The whole ordering process was so easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone! Their customer service is amazing and Akshay really tries to go above and beyond for his...
Read moreAlthough the prices and overall selections are nice, going to this store is a hassle. I arrived with my friends early to wait in a line and instead of being just 1-2 hours we ended up waiting a whole 5 hours!!! Why? Because they have random people running up from their cars straight to the door and the owners allow them straight into the store disregarding the crowd of people who have been waiting for hours. If the long disorganized line wasn't enough the employees show some sort of favoritism. After waiting for 5 hours, the selection out was grim but plenty of boxes filled for restocking. I asked not once but twice to both of the employees if they had any more lenghas or suits to which they replied no. Less than 10 minutes later, another group of girls came in the store and they promptly opened up the new boxes to give lenghas to those girls. I question if the highly unprofessional staff and unorganization of the store is...
