Good afternoon everyone, I am submitting an honest review. I am a loyal member at restaurant. Great food, great flavors, clean restaurant, updated accommodation, and now the servers are way different in their professional conduct. Currently, the servers are acting very poorly in their service towards customers. They get very defensive when customers ask them or challenge them with any questions. Today, I and my wife went for lunch. We ordered a bunjal lamb and Roti with dhall, and a lamb fried rice with extra fry chicken on top. We usually pay like $3.25 to add the fried chicken on top. First of all Nest Restaurant, youâre serving dhall and Roti to a customer, why are you giving one spoon full of dhall to customers knowing that is not going to be a great an adequate amount to eat the Roti? Now youâre trying to let me order a serving of dhall for $6. In your business, do you think itâs ok?
So, time fir the bill. The bill came and Iâm seeing $8.25 for an order of fried chicken. So I inquired politely from the server as to what is meant by an order of fried chicken? She rudely said ohh you have to pay for it and itâs an order of fried chicken. I was wondering, why would I order chicken on top of my lamb fried rice for 3 pieces and get charged for it for $8.25 when I can just buy a whole chicken fried rice for like $10. The server called another server with the red tie and they both saying ohh the computer does the charging and itâs not us. I requested to speak to the manager Mr. Winston. When I asked him about charges for any added chicken he told me itâs like $3 to $4. He was very nice and professional. The issue is not the money or payment. It is about I was correcting their mistake. I overheard the one sever said that she does not know how to add the fees for extra chicken in the computer so she just added an order of fried chicken to make her job simple.
Mr owner of nest restaurant, how do you justify selling three pieces of fried chicken, about a quarter for $8.25 plus taxes?
I am requesting you to please have a look at your servers attitude towards...
Read moreI had such a horrible experience here. I ordered a chicken fried rice, which I normally good. I've ordered lamb pudding here, but I wanted to do a one-stop shop all. Let me tell this, will never do that again. So, I ordered my food and drove 35 mins to get home. Opened the container of the lamb pudding, and the odor almost made me throw up. I was so upset because it's not like I live close by. I called and spoke to the might manager. I believe his name is Devin, and I explained to him what happened. I asked him since I don't know when I will be in the area again and my grandma lives like 5 minutes away. If I can give her my credit, he assured me that was ok. Now, I will mot order something that was not good for me and think it will be good for someone else. Come the next day, I called and spoke to the day manager, his name is David. I explained my situation and how I spoke to the night manager and would like to order a chicken lo mein and have it delivered to my grandma's house. He was like, he can't do that because the lo mein is more money. I told him I would pay the difference, I don't mind, he's like well we can't take yourcard over the phone, I'm like wow. He finally spoke to the night and told me he would do it, but the delivery guy called out and will do it the next day and will call me to confirm everything. I am still waiting to hear from him. I just went a week later and collected my money. I really don't give bad reviews, but I have my own business and know how much owners appreciate it, but bad reviews I really try not to do. I like to solve the issue, but they leave me no choice. It's such a shame, I drove 35 mins for their food to garbage it. I wasn't going to collect my money, but I can feed a homeless person with it and be blessed rather than give it them who are unprofessional, liars,...
Read moreWent to nest today for the first time since it reopened. Service was extremely slow since just one server tending to the entire restaurant. We ordered a cha chi kai chicken, sambala chicken fried rice, and banga with dahl &rice. Our drinks came out 15 min after ordering, and our food took an additional 30-40 min. Don't come here starving and expecting to eat in a timely manner because that's not happening. The cha chi kai chicken was excellent; I have no complaints. The Banga was fishy a bit, but not too bad. The Sambala chicken, in my opinion, was not good at all; it's not the same Sambala chicken as the previous nest restaurant . This chicken had buffalo sauce and didnât go well with the fried rice at all. I didnt eat it. The fried rice was standard, neither good nor bad. The portion sizes were very small for the price. Usually multiple people can share a fried rice but now its one per person. Our bill was $70, which was costly for just two meals, one app, and one bottle of soda. They also charge an âoperating feeâ just for using a credit cardâŠIt should be noted that when ordering any curry/Banga, the price does not include rice or dahl, which is usually standard when ordering these meals at other restaurants. I was charged $5 for rice and $5 for dahl. The banga mary was $15, so I paid $25 for that meal. The restaurant is nicely redone, but they need to work on the smell of toilet cleaner upon opening the door. I wouldn't be returning, as this was not worth the hype and value...
