A Disappointing Donation Experience

I am quite disappointed in your clothing drive and your church misrepresents it's self. I contacted you and informed you that I have 32 bags of lightly used and new designer clothing.  Your driver came and left saying the van was full and he would be coming back with an empty van in an hour. The clothing was labeled in clear plastic bags for St. Mary's church.

Then five minutes later, I received a call from a man stating that the clothing was soiled which is not the case and the church cannot use them. I do not understand the boldface lies. The clear plastic bags were set aside on the ground floor of the house. The clothing had to be moved because my contractor is doing work for me and they were blocking the entrance. We would have easily  brought them out to the van although clearly there were two men, a driver and helper. Your church misrepresented it's self and from now on I will make my donations elsewhere...and I do have quite a bit to donate as I am starting the process of purging and giving away lots of stuff that I no longer use including a working car. Extremely upset, called last week to set up a pickup today October 05,2020. Told The pickup would be between the hours 8-2. Called at quarter to two and was told hours were from 8-4. It is now 5pm, no one came, no one called and I have six large bags of good cloths that now will have to sit until I find someone else. I cannot drive as I do not have a car. The worst donations service I have ever seen. two days in a row they can't pick up the clothing. Originally said the driver is going to be there from 8-4, first day didn't come second day called me and said the driver will be there in 5 mins so I took all 18 big bags downstairs to find Noone there. I mean if you are not going to come don't make me come down with all those...
