S&F Supplies Inc — Local services in New York

I have been in the neon sign business for over 30 years. I started buying transformers from this company perhaps two months ago. The first two shipments were fine. The next order came in with an off brand transformer. Called them immediately and to this day, it’s never been resolved. Also they double billed my credit card. Same tracking number with two different invoices. Had to call my credit card company to reverse the charges. It’s been over two months and I gave up calling. I also thought when I did call, I was speaking to someone in NYC. No! They were in the Dominican Republic. I love the Dominican Republic for a vacation but didn’t expect to be speaking to someone there regarding a messed up transformer order. Is this a scathing review? Yes it is. Needless to say, I am not recommending this company for any sign related parts. There are many others out there that will give you real service. If I ran my sign company like they run theirs, certainly I’d be out of business and picking up bottles and cans. Stay Clear. Sorry S&F, I am calling it...

BEWARE!!! I have been in the canvas business for over 37 years now. And I have NEVER dealt with a supplier as bad as S&F Supply. Since they took over Textile Commission in Philadelphia, and then got rid of the people in Philadelphia, I’ve had nothing but problems. Every Order has been wrong. And I have to wait about a week or two to get the correct order, which also comes in wrong. I tell them to apply my credit to my invoice and they never do. Now I have a large credit and no one is trying fix this. Left many messages and no one will call me back. (Frimit). They also try to substitute products for sub par materials and charge for top shelf products. I will NOT be ordering anything from this company until they straighten out their mess. I can’t run my business if they don’t know how to run theirs. Good thing I have several other suppliers that I can truly depend on. If I were to come into your business to straighten out things everyone...

THIS COMPANY SELLING INFERIOR MATERIAL!!! WE BOUGHT A ROLL OF WINDOW PERFORATED MATERIAL FROM S&F, AND AFTER I DID A COUPLE JOBS WITH IT IN TWO DAY ONE CUSTOMER CALL, THEN ANOTHER ONE, FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE JOBS WE DID COVERING THEIR STORE FRONT IS PEALING OFF. WE CALLED S&F ABOUT THE PROBLEM THAT WE ARE FACING WITH THEIR MATERIAL THE ASKED FOR PICTURE WE SENT THEM PICTURE OF ALL THE JOBS THAT WE DID,THEY TOLD US THEY ARE GOING TO CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, WE WAITED FOR WEEKS AND THEY NEVER CALL US BACK. WE CALLED WE CALLED S&F AGAIN, THEY LET US KNOW THAT THEY ARE WORKED ON TO CREDIT US BACK. WHICH THEY NEVER DID. WE HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR WEEKS AND LEAVE MESSAGES FOR STEVE AND CHAIM WHICH THEY BOTH IGNORED TO RETURN OUR CALLS. IF WE CALL AND TELL THE ONE WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE TO TRANSFER THE CALL TO STEVE OR CHAIM THE PHONE WOULD GO DEAD. THIS IS GOING ON ABOUT 2 1/2...
