Sunrise Auto Sales (Family owned since 1994) — Local services in New York

I purchased a 2016 Honda CRV with 42+ thousand miles on it last year. The financial process was not bad, I went through my bank instead of them. The car was nice clean, but had a few issues I was unaware of.

When I purchased it and drove it home, about 5 minutes away from the location, the battery completely died. I called them and they bought over a temp battery. A few days later the purchased me a brand new battery and installed it. I also purchased a warranty with them, but soon after I found out I didn't need it I contacted them and they gave me a full refund. Of course they tried to get me to keep it, but it wasn't too much of a hassle.

When I purchased the car they gave me a full carfax report. It said it had 1 accident. When I asked about it they said it was in a little finder binder. Not a bad accident just someone hit the rear bumper.

Not long after I found out that the "little finder binder" my mechanic told me this car was in was actually more serious. I can't blame that on them because they did let me know the car was in an accident. I should have investigated more but they said it wasn't that bad, so I took their word. This was my fist car buying experience and overall was pleasant. I would recommend this place, just make sure you know what you want and have a reliable mechanic look at it before you purchase.

Ps: When I cleaned the inside of the car thoroughly. I found a lot of broken glass under the front and back seat. I wonder if it was from that...

Boris and Mike. That’s all you need. Let me give some context to this review. My 24 year old daughter struggles with anxiety to the point where she has had several ER trips. Her anxiety was already high because her engine was on life support Saturday and she needed a car by Tuesday for work, school and my grandson. She took off Monday to go to Sunrise Auto Mall with her dad (who by the way is a trigger). When she called me to tell me that her dad left to run his errands, her anxiety was full throttle. I met her at the dealer even though I was pushing through food poisoning. I myself was taken advantage of by a dealer and wasn’t going to let that happen to her. Boy was I wrong. I arrived around 12:30 and met Mike first who had been with her since her 10 appt. He was so approachable and encouraging and not in the way of making a sale. He took me through the steps (which I already knew) but was very patient and willing to explain anything we asked. Then we met Boris and the hospitality continued. Going over the paper work, he spoke in a way that was neither abrupt nor condescending. As the hours grew and light gave way to night, my daughters anxiety dissipated and she left feeling happy and most importantly I left feeling confident. I’m very grateful for Sunrise Auto Sales, they help me out a very predicament into a wonderful vehicle. The car previously before my nice brand new was giving me all types of conflicts. This Auto shop is very reliable and dependable. Customer service is great, workers treat with you respect and care for your needs as if it was their own. My new car is great, it’s in great condition, great mileage, got it at a great reasonable price that I can’t complain about. This Summer of 2022 will be a great summer because of Borris, Johnny, & Joseph and all the other workers that helped me get my new car on the road. I’m truly grateful for them being compassionate towards what I was going through and helping me out the situation. Now I’m looking great in my new car, and I can finally drive a safe ride because of the kind caring people.
