SUNSET PLUMBING SUPPLY INC. — Local services in New York

I manage multiple luxury residences and deal with vendors all the time and am no novice to quality service. But reality is, this time I’m a woman walking in off the street, trying to do some home improvements of her own. Installing a dishwasher and changing out corroded pipes underneath the sink.

I was greatly impressed on many levels. Clearly I was going to the correct place based on clientele. Old and new school very reputable plumbers were in and out all day because this place is the real deal.

Their knowledge is unsurpassed. Being in the business themselves, they know it all and bonus, they will spend time and energy in helping you figure it out. Patient and never condescending.

If they don’t have it, you probably can’t find it anywhere. They have it all and if not, get it in 1 phone call. Parts are insanely difficult to find these days but they had no problem making it happen, quickly, for everyone who walked in and out.

Just genuinely good people who are locally owned and are a part of the community. Super helpful. Didn’t try to oversell and all recommendations were SPOT ON. If they can turn me into a novice plumber- successfully- they are pretty impressive.

Come on, this is a home run on literally all fronts. Money going back in to the community to a nice family as well as the fact you receive the best service with the best product and they can be trusted.

The best reminder to support local business! Talked me through a small project that involved replacing pipes and joints (and other stuff your average renter knows nothing about) and allowed us to fix our bath faucet for a grand total of $19! Owner also insisted we take a few different length pipes and return the one that didn't fit, so it will actually be $16 when it's all said and done. Imagine what a plumber would have cost! Plus the sense of accomplishment...

Amazing! The store clerk assisted in providing me with parts to connect from my water inlet to a cheap cold water faucet that did not come with a pipe or fittings. After several trips to the store to get parts and exchange parts, I am proud to say my connections have no leaks! Best of all the clerk also assisted other customers without skipping a beat.
