I don't remember how we found THM back in 2010 when they moved us into our first apartment, but when it came time to move again this year into our new space a few miles away in Brooklyn, we knew who to call.

Robert came by ahead of time to evaluate our apt, drop off some bins for us to pack in, and scheduled six movers. They showed up ahead of time and got right to work. In little more than 4 hours, they completely moved everything out of our fourth-floor walk up apartment into the truck, drove, and unloaded everything (without damage to the building or materials) into our new apartment.

They were all polite, prompt, and worked hard without complaint - wrapping up what needed wrapping and got it done. And for such a reasonable cost! Robert was easy to communicate with and we're so glad they were there for us when we needed them....

Wow, I am SO grateful for Robert and his team from Top Hat movers. This is my third time hiring them for a job that involved heavy furniture and stairs - worth every penny!!

This afternoon I was dismayed when my old sofa couldn’t fit on the elevator of my 8th floor building. Luckily I called Robert and within an hour he had booked two guys to come by later in the evening. From chatting with him to texting photos to working with his team, everything was professional and respectful. The guys even stayed to help assemble my new sofa! Not a single scratch on the walls - they carried the sofa as if it were a feather.

We've used Top Hat for a few moves now, and they're the best! Robert and his team are super responsive, helpful, efficient, and humane (they try to work with you on price, and are generally really fun to be around, which is a nice perk.) Most recently, they moved us from an elevator building to a walk-up and they were so efficient and safe! They also were really generous with their packing materials beforehand, giving us a better deal than other packing companies we'd gotten quotes from.
