I walked out of this store without purchasing the two shirts and five pairs of pants in my hands. I had tried these items on after being let into a dressing room, and was on my way to the counter... At that moment, the two employees working took it upon themselves to talk about how ugly all of the new clothing and styles Cato's was currently carrying, and how they'd never wear any of that stuff... Guess what was in my hands? I was standing less than five feet from them. I had even been helped by one of them. I proceeded to put every piece of clothing back. Due to the ignorance of Cato's employees, they have just lost a customer, and a decent sale...
Read moreTheir clothes are really cute, but they are insubstantial. The fabrics are thin and flimsy a lot of the time, not cool when you're a larger lady and want a smoother silhouette. Most jeans are distressed (i.e. torn to bits and stained), so it's hard to find any nice-looking jeans. The sizing is inconsistent, too. I wish the tops came in longer lengths. So many of them hit right at or almost above the waistline, not at all flattering for us...
