I will never use this pharmacy again! Ever!!!! The pharmacist here was refusing to fill a prescription saying that it was too early! He was using Siri to count 28 days for my prescription refill but, he was NOT counting the day of pick up on my last one and so, it came up short a day! I tried to ask him if he would kindly count the days as it tells you to on OARRS and he started yelling at me and talking down to me and absolutely flat out refused to admit that he was wrong. I've never been so humiliated and made to feel so low in my life. I'm absolutely positive that it was due to the type of medication that it was and his feelings about it! I spoke with my insurance, the corporate office, another pharmacist and also the Ohio Bureau of Pharmacy and the pharmacist at this pharmacy was the ONLY one that said it was not 28 days. I will not allow someone to yell at me, disrespect me, try to humiliate me and threaten me by using my medication against me so, I've filed 2 complaints and I'm sure based on the fact the he told me several times that he didn't care about Walgreens because they don't hold his license and that he's the store manager as well, he will convince someone to take his side BUT videos and audio, do not lie. Like I said, I'm not going to allow someone to humiliate me and degrade me the way that he did and let it go! The way he was talking and the fact that he could not have cared less, tells me that he's probably done this before and got away with it. Not this time. You do not treat people that way and get...
Read moreWhen people are sick sometimes they have âsick brainâ. I have a head cold and went in to buy cold medicine with such a brain. Went to checkout and the woman says âlet me look up your account- oh I need your ID.â I donât buy medicine at Walgreens, ever. Never had to use my ID for looking up my account either. She mentioned my account so I thought thatâs what she was talking about. Again, sick brain. I just wanted relief for my sinus/head cold. I didnât have my ID. I told her to forget it. Im thinking, I donât need my account points to buy the medicine. I thought she scanned it and so I wait. She waits and stares at me. Cue a very uncomfortable space.
She finally says, âyou need to be 40 to buy this, thatâs why I asked for ID.â Her tone told me I should have known that. I didnât. Why would I?
I wish that was explained to me earlier and the tone she used wasnât necessary. I was wrong for why she wanted my ID and wish it was nicely explained to me. I was reminded why I usually go to CVS for medicine. The end issue isnât that I couldnât buy my medicine, it was that the employee wasnât kind at all in my interaction with her.
Walgreens please remind your employees not everyone knows medicine age restrictions especially if they donât to your store for it usually and 40 is...
Read moreI encourage anyone who can, to NOT GO TO WALGREENS. Their pharmacy hours are NOT visibly posted. They gave me the WRONG MEDICINE ENTIRELY for a prescription, which if you were unaware, can be so dangerous it can lead to death. Make sure to check any pills you receive from Walgreens against the description of the pill given on your bottle. When I called to get this fixed I was told by the pharmacy employee that I could come âany timeâ today. They DID NOT mention lunch hours. They also DO NOT mention lunch hours in their texts when they tell you your medicine is ready. I met another woman on my way out who was ALSO going to the pharmacy at their âlunch hoursâ time, who also did not know they closed at any time during the day!!!!!! This is wildly unacceptable, every single bit of it. I feel bad for the employees, I think they should all quit. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to GIANT EAGLE instead. Iâve never had a...
