Showplace Cinema Newburgh 12 — Local services in Newburgh

Definitely the worst movie theatre experience I’ve ever had. I went with 8 of my friends on Saturday night, and we were only able to get through 40 minutes of the movie without getting kicked out with no warning.

The people in front of us complained to the workers about us being on our phones on low brightness which never bothers people. We asked the people next to us which said it was ok. So about 30 minutes into the movie a staff member who was nice about the situation told us we need to leave because we are being on our phone. It was the woman staff member who was the jerk.

As we got out there we were gonna call our parents to pick us up but she said we have to wait outside IN THE RAIN. She was extremely rude and sexist because 3 of our friends who were girls got to stay inside as their parents came and said they were able to come back. We went back today and they told us agian we weren’t aloud inside. But the girls weren’t with us. Worst cinema ever I would have rather drove to Evansville to see a movie. I would recommend the Evansville one staff was extremely nice there and answered all my questions being nice about it.
