My husband and I have had several personal trainers over the years and this is an entirely different program. Here they approach your fitness comprehensively and holistically. Before we had trainers, at Stark Personal Training we have a TEAM that includes a personal trainer, nutritionist, chiropractor and naturopathic doctor, with each informing the other and working together toward your improved health. As part of the initial intake, you take a blood test to discover your nutritional needs and sensitivities, and a DEXA scan to determine your BMI including fat, visceral fat and lean muscle mass. With those reports you work with the nutritionist and personal trainer. Then you retest periodically to track results. In the few months I have been working out with them I have been following the plan and gaining muscle while losing approximately a pound a week. Just what the nutritionist determined would be right for me. And that is even with having had a 10-day Caribbean Cruise and a week in Las Vegas for a convention!
