Marshalls — Local services in Newton

I love Marshall I always go there because I belive you can buy good brands a good price but!!!!! Listen people BE CAREFUL, yesterday I bought a Comforter the bag said "nautica" and I loved the color I thought it may be small but I still wanted to try so I bought it, when I came home sadly it was small but you can always return it right? I went there today to return it and when they checked the comforter they found out it wasn't nautica but the bag said nautica so I can not return it !!!! omg I freak out!!!! So disappointed thanks God it was small so I could find out that I wasn't buying what I thought, I am not the kind of person that look the tag of the comforter to see if it match with the bag!!!!! So I looked like the cheater woman who tried to return something that doesn't match while I wait and complained of course because I was the one who got cheat!!!! And finally someone knew what I was taking about and apologized with me and make the return. I am just wondering if they will put the same bag with the wrong comforter and sell it to another silly person like me thinking they are buying " nautica ".

Very Odd experience. When I got to the cashier the first thing the woman says to me is “Do you live here in the United States?Do you have ID?” Felt like I was talking on the phone with someone from New Dheli who wants my social security info. I told her I was in a rush and didn’t want to run to get my ID from the car, I just wasn’t interested. She kept insisting, saying she’d go faster if I went to get my card, like what?! After I finally say no for a 5th time, she gives me a look like I insulted her child then stops asking. Then after some silence the manager comes up asking if I found everything ok, and then asks about signing up:| I tell him the woman had informed me and that i’m all set. I forget exactly what he said but it was his spiel trying to get me to sign up so I ended up saying I’m all set 3 more times, and then he’s starts repeating me and saying all i say is i’m all set. Felt like there lives depended on me...

I was really impressed with the way Marshalls is dealing with covid. There was a lady at the door offering clean carts. She cleaned the handles a second time before giving it to shoppers. I think they removed some of the rows of clothing so shoppers can distance a little more. At the check out, they had their employees wiping down the pin pad and counters after every customer. They also had barriers between each cashier which I assume is there to keep their staff safe. I also work with the public so I was happy to see that. This was my first shopping experience since covid started and I was wary of going. Overall they really impressed me. Marshalls is doing...
